I learn something new with every one of your videos, Jennifer! Thank goodness you share that wonderful, creative brain with us, so we all look talented when we make our cards!
Jennifer, you are such an artist. I know you have a background in engineering which helps, but you also have a great sense of design, color, balance, and creating a focal image. It's harder for some of us than it seems and coming regularly to your videos and blog site keep us inspired and encouraged. I have given up on my Stamp-a-ma-jig, but I will pull it out again and see if I can't conquer it! Thank you for all the work and effort you put into bringing these great videos to us.
I appreciate so much all of your training videos. They are absolutely the best out there. Always on point. Clear sound, Great presentation. I enjoy watching them so much. Just want you to know “You are Appreciated.”......
So thankful for all your wonderful videos! Love all these beautiful cards and techniques! I'll try them all these weekend with similar stamps and dies. Thank you! Laura
Even though I think I know how to use my equipment or do a technique, I always learn something from your videos. Plus, I never have trouble hearing, your sound is always good. Thanks for all you do to make this hobby fun and easier to enjoy.
GREAT ideas in this video, Jennifer! I don't have a Misti, therefore didn't seriously consider purchasing any layered stamp sets or tonal ink sets. Now ... you've really tempted me! Especially with the multiple-stamping technique to get more shades from the same ink and I still have my Stamp-a-ma-jig. Thank you! ❤️
As always, a video jam packed with useful information and beautiful examples .. This is why I have stayed a faithful subscriber for years now .. I don't know how you consistently do it, but very grateful for all your time and effort in putting together these videos ... THANK YOU ! : ]
I've been using a stamp positioner since 1992 when I bought the only existing one for sale which was a Stampa Barbara T-square with vellum sheets. I have a Stampamajig now that still works pretty well. Always good to dust off older tools for those who may not have been exposed to them yet.
Time to dust off my old stamp positioner--thanks for the reminder about a great tool! I really struggle with stamp layering and I'm anxious to try this again.
A good thing about Living in Europe is that we Can buy a Nellie Snellen stamping buddy pro cheap compaired to a Misti. Less than half the price. 😀😀😀. Thanks for all you do Jennifer.
I actually thought the sunflower stamp looked better before the last bullseye dark brown was stamped on the center. But, your cards are always beautiful, regardless of stamp sets used. 😉 Thanks for sharing!
I was going to try the method you showed a few days ago with my Misti, but I have so many stamps on the page, I felt it was going to be more work! Thanks for an alternative that I can use a little of each method!
Ha! I had pretty much forgotten about my old stamp positioner! Guess I'll have to pull it out, and give this a try. Actually, this method looks like it may be an easier way to work with those (sometimes tricky) layered stamps. Thanks!!
Thank you for this video! I have a difficult time layering stamps with my stamparatus. This is information I will definitely use. As in the other comments, thank you for you awesome videos. Never stale or boring. I’ve learned so much.
I have an Art Impressions positioner as well as a MISTI, but for someone who doesn't have either, you can use an L shaped ruler or a corner of a T-Ruler. I bought a nice, metal L-Ruler at my local dollar store a while back, so they can be very inexpensive.
Fabulous video. Thank you Jennifer. I’m also grateful for your comments as you go along on ink properties. I’ve had some disappointments with the Altenew inks but I will check out the stamps and try again.
I could watch this for hours. I can't find anyone in South Africa that makes these type of cards. I was so motivated to give it a go but with our South African Rand that is so weak against the USD, it is just to expensive, especially with shipping that is almost always more than the stamp. So I am living my creativity through you and enjoying it every moment 😁
Hi Jennifer, I struggle with these stamps as well! Thank You for the wonderful tutorial, and yes...I am confounded how you manage to put up such a wealth of information, time after time! I have kept some of my old positioners, and wondered if they could be useful someday...guess now I can dig them out, and give it another try...THANKS so much for all your wonderful efforts to help us all out! :)
Thanks so much for this information. As always such pretty cards. I also really liked the "double" card idea and the stamping underneath and on top of the background die cut.
These cards are truly stunning and you've convinced me to dust off this old tool and even pick up this cool acrylic one by Art Impressions. It actually looks easier than fussing with the MISTI sometimes--Particularly if I only need a few extras. Thanks for the amazing feature--It means the world to me.
Hi Jennifer 👋 Thank you so much for posting a lovely tutorial and Thank you so much for sharing your tips 👍 all the best have a nice week Lin in South Wales uk 🦋 💞
Another amazing video Jennifer!! Very informative and enjoyed it as usual. A quick question, would you be interested in making another video on your updated planner system? I found the older one very useful and was wondering if you had updated your system.
You always have so many unique tips on how to craft. I have an old stamp positioner although I’m not sure where it is. I like this idea even though I have a MISTI and most other brands on the market. I’m always looking for a way to get good impressions with my stamps. Your examples are beautifully done i especially liked the background die that you used. Thank you 😊
Thanks for the great suggestions! I have a Stampamajig positioner from EK Success and the guide is already a bit milky so it’s great for visibility. No need to switch to vellum. But I will definitely try using the black ink!
Jennifer, the link for the Altnew Crystal die is invalid. Tried it several times. Thought I’d let you know. So pleased with yet another educational experience from you tutorial today. Thanks for all you do Jennifer. Blessings!
Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge and creativity! Regarding stamping the watermelon, my seeds had a little tail on them, so I went back to see how you stamped them. I noticed you edited out the stamping of the seeds. Any special tricks to avoid that.
Hi Jennifer thank you for this tutorial. A while ago I bought a set of layering Roses from Hampton Art and try as I might i cant get them to layer properly. Have you done a video on this stamp. Hugs and Luvs xxx Wendy
Wait, I'm confused. I think you used the Geometric Frames Die set from Altenew, not the new Crystal Frames Die set. The one you used cuts out a shape, and then cuts a thin border. The new Crystal Frames set has dies that match the Crystal Frames stamps, and they don't come apart. Sorry, not trying to point out mistakes, but I noticed this and thought you'd want to know!
