I started playing this game like 2-3 weeks ago and found your channel after looking for some videos on it. I’ve learned some great tips and tricks from a lot of your vids that have helped me get further. I’ve gotten better but never thought I’d even get through once, but I finally just did it for the first time! I didn’t go through any of the secret levels or any of that, just got through 1-5 for the first time, but I’m getting better and better. It’s crazy how easy you make it look lol, but I guess that’s what practice does!

It's aways a joy to see a new gungeon video, btw I am stuck in getting the prime primer to the forge, I have every other piece except that one, any tips on the best type of run or the best character to use?

Try to make sure that you perfect all or most of the bosses for the master rounds, that way your forge will be less stressful health wise.

Mainly go to the oubliette to fet the money. Apart from that just dont get hit my friend

I like hunter for that sort of thing, she can get keys etc from the dog, so saving your money is made easier- being able to afford prime primer and still have the resources to beat the remaining floors takes luck and experience.

In my 500h of Gungeon, I had never seen a disguised rainbow chest :o

You can only imagine how many brown chest you’ve overlooked that could’ve been rainbows 😂

@@DaOnlyAus10K It'll reveal itself as a rainbow chest when you destroy it, as well. I think there's something like a 0.05% chance of a brown chest being a disguised rainbow chest. Still never seen one.

Why not taking the cheese gun? I reached this place recently but I only managed to get one key and I got that weapon and it singlehandedly carried me thru the hollow and forge, infinity ammo and fast "freeze" effect.

He doesn’t take it for that exact reason, after a while you dont always want to take the super op stuff especially a gun you can get every run, it would make the game extremely samey

in case you didnt know, you can pick up hearts even if you're already full on health and they'll go into a machine in the shop and next to the elevator on the next floor that stores them for later use so you dont need to run around the floor picking up heart litter a counter will appear at the bottom left of the map when you open it which signifies how many half hearts are in those machines
