I love these Storage Solution Vids. They show a player's preferences and personality just by getting a tour of it. I always thought that a Deck Box that can fit The Raptors or Moon Knight Set will fit any set (except for the T-Rex ofc). And your vid beautifully confirms it. So I guess 80+ Deck Boxes it is!
Yeah! I realized after finishing the video, I should have shown the the boxes easily hold all three raptors securely. (I also have minis for Konshu and mr knight. All three fit nicely as well.)
I love this solution! I've used your labels for all my boxes, but I store my miniatures separately. Thank you so much for including the psd template as well! You did not link the font though and it gives an error when loading the file even if I have the same font already installed. It might have helped if you had linked the font pack you had used as well.
Thanks again for sharing your awesome storage solution. Has it changed at all over time, or do you just keep adding boxes with every new character? Have you considered keeping all the deck boxes in one of those BCW 3200 monster boxes? I think you'd be able to fit all your stuff in 2 of those things. Also, have you considered uploading labels for the other custom fighters you have? I only see the Hellboy one included in the link Anyway, I came back to print out the Sun's Origin labels since my box came in and I noticed a few errors. -Invisible Man is spelled incorrectly as "Invisable Man" -Tomoe Gozen's ability is the same as Oda Nobunaga's ability -Daredevil's ability says that he can boost when there are two or fewer cards in his deck rather than hand -In Cloak & Dagger's description Cloak is spelled "Cloack" Bonus controversial errors: -I think Deadpool's ability should mention healing after every attack and not the joke about Logan -Invisible Man and Alice both say "Defence" instead of "Defense" -Sherlock & Holmes say "Canceled" or "Cancelled"
Hey! Thanks for easy to read list of fixes! I've gone ahead and updated all the errors. I've also added an alt for deadpool with his healing ability. The main reason I have an ability recap on the label is for new players to peruse the fighter options. By making the funny ability the front and center one, it lets them know that he's not very competitive but a great fighter if you are trying to have a funny experience. As for your questions, I'm currently working on a V2 to also store the villains and minions in a nice way. Also thinking about making labels that included some art of the characters.
Also also! I'm personally not to interested in the monster boxes. The unmatched boxes are so great looking on the shelf, and I usually only bring 1 box with me to game nights with 16 carefully picked fighters for that group. :D
@@BurntTrostGames Thanks for the alternate Deadpool option and keeping things updated. Adding artwork sounds like it would look amazing but might take up too much space or clutter the clean visuals you already have. I just saw a post on Reddit where someone was selling their old deck boxes and they had used some artwork from the character's deck to label the boxes but used no text. The villain and minion storage solutions sound interesting. I personally keep all my sleeved Unmatched Adventures cards in one deck box, the minis and tokens go in another box. I also just bring one box of fighters the same way you do; I'm just interested in seeing any other solutions people come up with.
What I ended up doing was save to the labels, then open PAGES and place them onto a blank page. The sizing I used was 2.52" Width x 1.42" Height in the ARRANGE tab under FORMAT. I could fit 3 across and 6 down for 18 labels per page. I ended up printing them on normal paper and just glueing them to each box top instead of buying the label paper
Dude! What an honor that you’ve watched one of my videos! Loot n’ loaded was an impulse buy for me! Usually I need to watch videos and really consider before buying. But that one I put in my cart right after seeing it!
This is a wonderful solution, especially because it's so cheap (not including the cost of the fighters themselves 😅). The lid lift is a little annoying, but it would be easy to adjust by getting something like a TCG travel case. Course, I only have one set anyway, so I don't know why I'm so invested in this. Great work!
Well thank you! A travel case would definitely be a more wise option. I just think that this games boxes are so beautiful and it would be a crime to toss them or keep them empty hidden in a closet. 😜
This looks great. I do wonder if it would work with sleeved cards. I use kinda thick sleeves. Might not be enough room in the box for everything for a fighter.
What a great idea, you think it would fit everything if you sleeve the decks? Are you going to keep the dropbox updated as new sets come out? Thanks for your work.
I don’t think all would fit with sleeves. Honestly most fit perfectly as is, so sleeves might be too cramped and damage stuff. Raptors would definitely not fit. And yes! I will keep the folder updated as sets come out. And depending on if you guys would like it, I can also make a folder with all the custom fighter labels too
I just tested it out with bigfoot and a deck box I have. It fits with still some room. I only use the clear sleeves from Sleeve Kings so they aren't as bulky as some sleeves are. Raptors may be an issue and I haven't tried putting the plastic cut out in with the mini yet. Also only using 1 divider with that one. @@BurntTrostGames
No problem, thanks for sharing them and coming up with the great idea. I was going to 3D print storage for all of the characters but this is much more simple and compact.@@BurntTrostGames
I used to have this kind og storage solution but changed to a pair of container boxes, but might use a mix of both, one or two huge LCG card containers for fighters, and normal UM boxes for the fields. Also, thanks for the stickers, but the PSD file has the numbers and names rasterized, meaning they can't be easilly edited with Photoshop to maintain the style across stickers. I wanted to do translations for my spanish sets.
Same issue! I'm pretty Photoshop-incompetent but was super happy to see how easy the layers were set up for melee/ranged and swapping out logos. But changes any numerical/text values are proving a challenge. Thanks to the OP for making it all available to play with, though!
Really depends on the fighter. For most, they are just loose. The figures are quite snug between the inserts, so I’ve had no issues with damage. But for the minis that have small details or pieces that could break easy, I cushion then with mini bubble wrap
@@BurntTrostGames Thank you for the mini bubble wrap idea. I have changed out my storage for one of my sets. so many of the characters don't have the plastic insert. But I really like how user friendly this storage is. Thank you.
Overall, this is a really helpful video except for the fact i didn’t feel comfortable cutting out for plastic holds, so do you have another solution to make sure the mini figures don’t bounce around?
Very nice storage solution!! i got curious about 3 fan decks. what are your impressions about Goku, Robocop and Ninja Turtles? do you find them balance and fun to play with?
Yeah! So I actually have videos on the channel showing off TMNT and Robocop in great detail. (With a Goku video coming) I think TMNT is my favorite of the bunch! But all three are pretty balanced in my opinion, non of them are constant winners or losers.
@@BurntTrostGames im going to review your videos and subscribe in the channel :D I see you get minis from TheMeepleSmith!!! me too!! i love this shop!!
