My only issue is that they used a plastic swivel between the cup and band. If you're careful with them, hopefully they won't break. That swivel should've been metal.
@@archiebeatz Thank you Archie and loving the content my brother, I'm well and really busy, which is a good thing, the choir is getting lots of work #bpositivechoir, so can't complain, how's the family bro and keep doing you 🙏👑
Had these for about a year , not the best for casual listening bc the bass isn’t there. BUT there great for recording and not bleeding in the mic and for mixing
That's awesome. Well, I listen to a lot vinyl nowadays and they sound great. Yes, haven't recorded vocals with anything else in the past month and a half.
How is the soundstage though? Would you take these over the Beyerdynamics DT1770 Pro Closed Back for mixing? Don't like open back headphones not a fan...especially in a apartment setting.
Hi Archie Beatz, great video as always. I have been interested in these headphones too. But I what I really want to know is……what’s the verdict on the KH80’s?!😄. Are they worth purchasing?
Great to hear your review, BUT the NDH 20 has the cable plug on the RIGHT side, not on the left (like most phones) ... That's an unusual (I do not know why) thAng of these otherwise great headphones !
Hey what's up bro? That's awesome. I know you are enjoying them. I've heard great things about them. I definitely plan on getting my hands on a pair to review and test out. Be on the lookout for sure.
Archie, I'm a bit lost or say outdated LOL regarding music equipment stuff in some areas. I have this headphones (as well as others) and I have what its supposed to be on paper a more than capable driver for them such as the Arturia Audiofuse Studio, yet, and despite I'm not very kind in listening at very high levels, I sort of feel I need some more power on this headphones. I contacted Arturia about it but really didn't get any definitive answer and instead rather they're telling me this it's a personal taste thing etc etc Do you think is there any good headphone amplifier that I could use in addition to what its supposed to be a powerful enough interface such as the Arturia which you think would be worth investing in just for these very headphones? Honestly, as I have never had the need for such a thing as headphones amplifiers (neither I know if Im on the need of one now) I have not a clue whatsoever about it so anything would help putting me in the right direction Thanks very much in advance :)
Hi Jesus! It's no disrespect at all. I was just monitoring mono audio through my camera. If I was panning, mixing or recording instruments they would have been properly placed. I try not to be so hard on myself when operating a cinema camera rig with lighting for RU-vid videos. Thanks for trying to help.
Great review, thank you! How does the Neumann NDH 20 compare to the Austrian Audio Hi-X60? Is it more detailed, has it a better soundstage? I am looking for headphones with no harshness, with a particularly good soundstage and a flat frequency response.
Thank you! Honestly, they are equal in quality and detailed sound. As far as imagining they are in the same ball park as well. I prefer the fitting and circumaural style of the NDH 20. They are comfortable! I hope this helps.
Another awesome content by my best RU-vidr Archie beatz big up big up blessing❤️🙏🏽❤️ You have helped me throughout my journey choosing the right equipment etc, I would love to show you what studio gear you made me attain my inspirational friend if you give me the opportunity. Please let me know if it’s possible
Hi, both are great with a different sounds. The Adam have tighter and closer sound while the Neumann have a more roomy feel. The quality is equal. I prefer them both for referencing.
IF you have large ears, for sure, but if your ears are the right size or what I'd call Western European ears, they're perfectly comfortable for at least 6 hours....I've worn mine for a 12 hour gaming marathon with only taking them off to go to the bathroom!
@@mggm9680 confirmed, I say they are the Spanish boot torture device for the top of your head after about 20-30 minutes. the solution for me was to buy foam wraparound for the headband, not perfect but tolerable to sit in at least for an hour. but I love the sound, what can I do
I would have to disagree. Myself and four other professional engineers tested out these headphones and we all said the same things, these headphones are awful for mixing. They sound so boxy. To me, the best application for these headphones is tracking vocals. Other than that, there are other headphones that people should look into. Cheers!!
