@@MondoLoops holy I did NOT expect a reply brother you are such a huge inspiration and you look EXACTLY like another of my favorite RU-vidrs notOtzdarva LOL Fanboying aside, chords are mainly my issue, since they are basically the core of every piece, and I often end up with really "cheesy" sounding chords with a melody plastered on top of it. I guess another thing that I am interested in learning more about is--since I do not have a midi controller--making instruments like a piano sound more realistic without being distastefully off-beat. Anyhow, thanks for the reply and keep up the amazing work! 🥰

@@MondoLoops I've found there to be a lack of sample packs in the "wave" category (Antent, Reidenshi, OneHeart, Mathbonus) So more of that ambient dreamscape type of stuff is always appreciated seeing as that genre is just growing every day now.

Thanks for all you do, Mondo. Have you ever considered doing a tutorial on how to get that Lofi Fruits sound? Most of their songs were made by just one guy (Bauke Top) who mentioned in a podcast he usually produced in Logic, and used a Nord for piano sounds... I'm just very curious if you know which plugins he might have used, where he got his drum sounds, etc? Thank you so much

Hey bro, thanks for watching - appreciate your support! To be honest I haven't listened to much Lofi Fruits and found their stuff to be of generally low quality compared to Lofi Girl / Chillhop and in the past they have been largely criticized by the lofi community for their predatory tactics and stealing / not paying artists - their model is essentially to make as much music as possible as cheap as possible and not pay artists royalties but use in house stuff etc. so would for sure be cautious about working with them!

@@MondoLoopsI definitely have no interest in working with them, just curious how Bauke produced his tracks! I think Lofi Girl sounded a lot different before Lofi Fruits started taking off... I really think Lofi Girl and Chillhop copied them, and not the other way around. Been following both for years. It's really fascinating. But I am really dying to know how Bauke made his tracks... literally he made 99% of Fruits' music-- over 1,000 songs in 3 years. He's kind of elusive, but if there's one thing anyone can say about him-- he's consistent!

If I can recommend a good album to study / dissect-- it's Bauke's "Escape Room" album, as Lofi Fruits. I definitely think it's one of the best "sleepy lofi" albums out there, for sure.

Got super mixed feelings about that, the thing is Lofi Fruits is a company designed to make as much money as possible, and will have generated billions of streams from this guys tracks and I can guarantee he's made a tiny fraction of the proceeds which is sad and takes away from real musicians in the scene for sure! I will defo have a listen though and see what the vibe is!@@LofiChillBeatzzz
