Kids pay attention to what he does! He lets the ball come to him as far as it can then he swipes, most kids are taught to go get the ball. Letting the ball come to you before reaching out for it is faster 9/10 times! Wish more kids were taught this. This dude is next level, i love it.

The tags are amazing, but I have never seen anyone with so much field awareness. Javy knows what's going on everywhere on that field at any given time.

I love Javy's precision, and most of all his defensive 'smarts'. He somehow knows how to play the throw and tag in milliseconds, literally. That's base ball instinct.

I was at a game to see Javi get 2 people trying to steal and also when he stole home. Man...i've never felt a building shake like that. When you are at a Cubs game, you are on a different planet.
