honestly I'm not that scared on crowning a character. I just crown on who I like lol, regardless of the scaling, because what's the point of crowns if you're not even gonna use them? more of it will come by during events anyway

honestly at this point, because of the amount of time spent on farming artifacts, it forces me to spent on less time farming other resources, which means I often don't have enough resource and mora to level up talents. which means I'm getting crowns faster than I can spend them. which means I really can just crown whoever I want without worrying

Me, triple crowning my Razor as every tier ranking in the world says he's quickly falling out of meta: "This sign can't stop me because I can't read!"

For me, crowning is a matter of reward I give to a fave or often used character. But it is nice to have an objective opinion on how you spend such a valuable resource. I crowned my Razor's N long before Eula showed up. He's best boy and my first DPS, so he gets crown. *pets imaginary Razor*

Triple crowned Amber. I genuinely like her and enjoy her kit even with it's limitations that drive the Metachurls and sheep that follow them crazy.

For me, crowning char just mean they earn a spot on my favorite list so no matter which char i crown, i have no regret or feel it was wasted, for example Razor was my first char that i crown and until this day i never felt like it was a wasted crown

Tbh I'm much more concern about the mora and books it costs than the crown itself

I never did the math, but the character that seemed the most worth crowning for me was Mona's Q, because it increases both her massive damage and buff she gives to the team.

I just crown characters that I love. Noelle for example, she's the first one that has been triple crowned

I only crowning character for "emotional" reason. Afterall, Most of the time, it's just waste of resources.

I crowned Albedo's E in anticipation of the mono Geo squad with Itto and Gorou's release. My Albedo is okay, but C0 and not elite artifacts means I need every % dmg I can squeeze out of him

One thing about crowning Bennet: That increase is for everyone in your party, and also for their elemental skill, no only burst. So while 2.3% may look low, it goes to 3 characters, both their bursts and skills, and even basic attacks! So its a bit misleading to say it only increases a raw 2.3%.

Top priority: Your favorite character's talents 2nd priority: The character that makes your Top priority stronger It's not about the damage literally lvl 9 or 12 is sufficient enough most of the time, it won't be much of a change to your account. It's about the time and resources spend, and you only gonna invest that much on your fav character and the character that will make your fav character stronger. In a way saving resources is much more valuable than crowning a character for that tiny bit of damage increase.

Keqing is my only triple crowned character and she's still the only character I've crowned. I'm planning to crown Yoimiya's normal, Ayaka's Q and Ganyu's normal (but first I need to get her :D)

I've prioritized crowning my kazuha's Q and I'm planning on crowning his E as well, simply because he's always a part of my team and I feel like crowning my support/sub-dps first would be more beneficial for me in the future as main-dps frequently changes depending on the meta.

Bennett is the most future proof character, and having a strong support allows you to comfortably play with new characters at early investment, so IMO, "crown Bennett" is still the best advice, especially for waifu>meta

For me, crowning a character is like a recognition for their contributions to my team. So i will double crown every archon, single crown any 5* that helped me in abyss and triple crown any character that has the same birthday as me :)

IMO Bennet's E skill could be priority 1. While it may not deal the most damage, it's most likely the most spammed ability in your party.

Ganyu's burst crown priority should be higher depending on teams. In a situation where venti is involved her burst actually does a stupid amount of damage and should be considered to be crowned if Morgana team is something that you run often in abyss

In total I have used 11 crowns (soon to be 13 with Itto) Auto and skill for Klee. Bennett's burst. Auto and burst for Eula. Skill and burst for Raiden. Skill for Tartaglia. Skill and burst for Zhongli. Burst for Venti. Auto and Burst for Itto once he is out.

this is a great video for people who are indecisive and/or a little lost on what to spend their resources on. i love chongyun and kazuha so i’m going to crown them. i often play bennett in co-op so i’m considering crowning him, and playing with tartaglia has been super fun so i could see myself crowning him in the future

Triple crowning Kokomi because she's my main dps ( and also, Hydro Supremacy :D). Honnestly, I think we all crown our characters because we really like them !

I triple crowned Amber and Noelle because they're waifu lol.

My first crowned character is Kazuha, and I played since Venti’s first run (1.0). I was tempted to crowned Xiao, have his talent at 9-9-9, but these days I don’t really play him, since jumping on ipad is kinda difficult.

My Ning is crowned (working on Noelle) cause she became my favorite, and that's all the reason I need, as 1 lvl of difference will not break the character With that being said, thanks for the guide, as on my head Bennett's burst was a no brainer

only used 2 crows so far, both on Noelle since she's my fav, but I'm definitely gonna use them on albedo, gorou, and itto too, I just have no books. I do have Eula and Klee but I never use them enough to warrant a crown or two

I used 7 crowns till this day. Eula's Q, Bennett's Q, Xingqiu's Q, Raiden's Q, Xiangling's Q, Kazuha's Q, Fishcl's E. In future, I plan to triple crown Kokomi for just fun.

You have to remember that even though crowning a bennet buff might only provide a 2.5% bonus (just for xiangling) when compared to non-crowned, thats for EVERY char in your party so thats very worth it in my book. Even more of a benefit when you are using a char that doesnt use attack like a support Kazuha. Bennet ult also does quite a bit of damage AND the extra healing, while not nessasary, is nice none the less.

When you want to get the most out of the characters, it's helpful to know how and which of them won't benefit from the extra bump.

Welp I double crowned my Kazuha just last week cause he was my first 5 star character and it feels good knowing that you've invested all you can in your fav character to squeeze out that extra damage. Mora, talent books, crowns will replenish with time.

I think the biggest takeaway from this video, was seeing the MASSIVE damage % Eula has, i never thought that she would have close to 3000% damage% on her burst!

Definitely disagree on Ganyu's Q being level 3 if you have (and use) her. That said this depends on if you play Ganyu purely on a Melt team or if you play her on a Morgana team. In a Morgana team the vast majority of your damage is coming from Ganyu's burst which has insane scaling in such teams when you can group enemies together such that her icicles are AoEing multiple enemies. In such teams a proper rotation is only actually firing ~3 charged shots which makes her normal attack much less important, though I'd still level it to 10 particularly if you run her in both Melt and Freeze teams. In a Morgana team this means that while it might be "only" a 5.8% boost in the raw damage values it will actually result in much higher actual DPS boost due to how her burst has quadratic scaling with number of enemies grouped together inside of it. Considering Morgana is considered the true "Meta" overpowered Ganyu team I'd personally say this really pushes her Q level to being the 1st priority...unless you can't run the team since it does require 1-2 additional 5 star characters, Mona is irreplaceable while technically you could use Sucrose instead of Venti or Kazuha and Diona is the one 4 star of the team. Eula I also strongly disagree on the tier 4 rating for her E skill due to the fact that her E is an integral part of her kit including when comboing to build up damage for her burst. The Physical and Cryo resistance debuff provided by her held E scales with the skill level and that can make a big difference in your actual burst damage aside just providing an extra chunk of damage itself. You should also be using the E essentially on cooldown constantly to animation cancel her normal attack chain before the final attack which means you end up racking up quite a lot of damage with her E as it does pretty solid damage itself. It is however worth note that the lightfall sword created when using her held E (from her first ascension passive) scales it's damage entirely off of her burst skill level and not her E skill level. I'd still 100% crown her burst before her E (and personally her NA before E) but I'd still say to get her E as high as possible otherwise. While I completely agree with the statements about the Anemo supports I'd honestly add some particular notes. Venti it's REALLY not worth leveling his burst much at all let alone crowning it due to the EM changes a while back...unfortunate for anyone who crowned his burst beforehand when it WAS worthwhile. Kazuha is largely the same for his E and Q with it not being much value due to the way EM works with Anemo swirl damage, HOWEVER it IS worth leveling his normal attack (at least to 8 or 9) as the plunge attack part of his E skill scales his damage based on his normal attack level plunging attack value. This can actually get you a LOT of extra damage when using his E which you're doing all the time when using him. I've seen a lot of people level his E while completely ignoring his normal attack skill which causes them to lose out on a ton of damage. Finally Jean in particular it's actually quite valuable to level her E skill (not necessarily crown) simply due to it's insane damage scaling on a skill that you can use very often and also abuse for tons of fall damage. That said if you use her more than just for her burst and occasional E it's also worth leveling her normal attacks to boost her charged attack damage in particular. This also helps if you abuse her charged attack float into an E pull to the ground and then back into the air launch for double fall damage on enemies.

Crowning Bennett's burst may not increase Xiangling's dmg by as much as it would by crowning her own burst, but it increases the damage of literally every character you run with him rather than just boosting a single character's dmg, so Bennett is definitely worth it imo

I waste them on the talents i find it most satisfying to lvl 10 and on my faves... And i think if you have eula her burst is a must crown cause it's buffing the damage of her charged E passive as well

Bennett's burst would improve more than Xiangling's damage though, since she snapshots. The next character(s) you switch to would also get a boost. Then you add in the damage increase specifically dealt by the Bennett burst. Still well worth crowning.

I recently crowned my yoimiya's Normal Attack and Skill and my Raiden's Burst and that drained my Mora. Now that i have hu tao and I still have 4 crowns, I'm planning to triple crown her.

As someone who's been playing for 6 months or so, I just used my first crown tonight. (Raiden's Burst) Then I started watching this video and I'm 7 minutes into the video wondering if I made a mistake! :) Thankfully I didn't! I have a cracked Emblem set for her and just got her a Staff of Homa. (I know, not BIS) She's carrying my national team, which is trucking at the moment. Next up on crowns is Ayaka! (I need more MORA!!!!!!)

I realized crowning outside of meta slave perspective is just "giving your favorite character what they deserve" same as waifu enjoyers who are also whales. having your waifu at peak waifu potential C6 R5 Triple crowned is a bliss. If that feeling is something that is worth he money you spent then that's money well spent already. with that said, characters who wants a crowned NA talent don't sit right with me. I don't feel good crowning a talent that doesn't go up to level 13. It feels like they will be paced away by the meta in the future as characters who need a crowned NA are all main DPS'es.

Just so you are aware for the Playststion version of the game R3 and L3 is referring to pressing down the joysticks on the controller instantaneously at the same time for quitting challenges, and individually for scrolling through options in the game. It took me a little bit of time to actually figure this out, so I figured that I would tell you people here.
