You should slightly consider Gallagher as an alternative for sustain. He gets an extra attack when he ults, so while not directly a follow up, still an extra attack to do damage and restore energy for robin. His besotted works great for FUA since they attack multiple times, and it's timer is based on enemy turns (which Robin ult pushes back). You can also run him with Quid Pro Quo for early energy regen on Robin, or Multiplication to try and get those extra attacks in.

Still though preservation takes the cake, that trend lc is too good nowadays, used in dot (to trigger prisoner 3 stack buff), acheron, and now robin.

Yo finally someone else who is saying this! I don't want to have to pull Aventurine when I have enough sustain and then I would also need to pull for a LC just to make Ratio work. Gallagher applies 2 debuffs consistently which is perfect for Ratio. With the jades you save up you could likely get Robin E1 which is arguably a better DPS increase than Aventurine or Topaz LC.

The only issue is that Robin doesn't get Besotted healing off of her Concerto additional attacks. Gallagher really prefers not to use his skill unless he needs to clear a debuff, and Robin herself doesn't attack enough to get a ton of value off of Besotted. So all the healing she gets is from Gallaghers major trace 3 post Ultimate use. If you want a team for Gallagher to really shine in, i recommend the new Harmony Trailblazer. He gets a ton of free Break Effect which scales up his healing dramatically, also using his natural break effect for more damage.

Based on private server showcases, she is good with dot and can seemingly surpass RM even given how fast dot characters tend to be overall, which helps her energy.

DoT will work, especially with Kafka and Black Swan!! You'll be able to stack Arcana like crazy if you play it right! I really don't think you can go wrong with getting Robin if you like her, I 100% believe she has potential to be a staple for a ton of teams in the future too!

Beta testers showcased her clearing MoC in place of Ruan Mei in DoT team comps and the results were pretty much Identical. So if you don't have Ruan Mei she is amazing.

Doesn't Dr Ratio need debuffs to work? you actually need at least either e1 or s1 Topaz for the debuffs, so swaping her with Clara/Herta/Xueyi doesn't do anything for Dr Ratio

Topaz does 1 debuff "proof of debt", Ratio does 1 debuff himself (one of ascenision traces), if you have Aventurine he does 1 debuff with his ult and you can give him "trend of universal market" light cone

If you have Aventurine paired with Clara, you basically turn him into a machine gun, since Clara doesn't need to take damage to counter hit, so she charges his stacks super quickly. Add in a support for Clara like Tingyun, Topaz or even Jade when she comes out, and I think you've got the most powerful version of the 'stand your ground law' team.

My idea for that team would be Clara, March 7th, Aventurine, Robin.. Why March 7th? To counter combo with Clara.. Her dmg is low? That's where Robin comes into place..

Isn't Clara and Aventurine kind of an anti-sinergy? because they both want to be hit as much as possible and have increased aggro. So they are not going to benefit fully from single target attacks.

@@novaahere and Robin is basically just a Ruan Mei that doesn't care about break, which means that Clara gets to keep counter attacking with the Jade buff, which keeps piling on stacks for both IPC party members and rolling in follow ups, which is just more damage for Robin to piggyback off of. Depending on how Jade's kit is worded I think it could be really cool.

@@whiteglint8191 I mean, Aventurine gets a stack whenever any shield of his gets hit, and then with Clara following it up with a counter adds another stack, so it's basically as if Aventurine got attacked himself. And Clara increases her defense, which should reduce the amount of damage her shields will take too, so the team is very survivable. From what I've tried with a few different teams, Aventurine gets a ton of stacks when paired with Clara, but I don't have every character so it could just be experience bias or something.

In the Speedsters category, I would honestly include Argenti. Argenti's 90-energy Ult is among the most spammable Ults in the game, he can nearly use it once per turn in Pure Fiction. I run him with Bronya and Tingyun, and if I ever get Huohuo, it's over 💀

Wouldn’t swapping topaz for hertz not give enough debuffs for dr ratio to make him consistent? It would make sense if we are relying more on robin for damage but in my mind someone like pela might be better for buffing dr ratios damage and the damage overall

@@cardiginobili5422 technically in e0s0 IPC team you have 3, one per character, tho that's not ideal and you'd ideally want at least one more to make Ratio more consistent. The OP is right tho, putting Hera there doesn't solve Ratio's debuff restrictions, in the example budget team he drops all the way to 1 so that'd be very inconsistent.

I wouldn't be able to test this myself, but from what I've heard other people say, the impression I'm getting is that she is probably going to be second behind Ruan Mei for those comps. I personally plan to get Ruan Mei because I also want to get into Break teams and she'll probably be way stronger than Robin for those, but anyone who plays both DoT and FuA teams will probably be very pleased with Robin's performance.

I play Kafka with er rope and her being able to act faster means way faster ult charge, I can't wait to get Robin. Also, it may be overlooked, but characters acting 2 times means they can break faster, thus making RM's break efficiency not much better

I hadn't really thought of the speed/cycle manipulation teams, but in retrospect it makes a ton of sense. As soon as you said that, my thoughts went "Seele naturally... oh wait Sushang!" Instead of having follow-up attacks, just attack more often. A SimU Hunt team with Robin sounds pretty fun. As mentioned in another comment, I think Gallagher could be a budget sustain option for Robin teams since his ult can action advance himself.

I am looking to play robin with probably my Kafka BS dot team. Both my Kafka team and my Jinliu team want Ruan Mei, so currently one of those teams is either getting Asta or Pela depending on which team has the more difficult fight on that floor. Robin kinda seems like a 5 star Asta so i feel like she would be a better fit on the Kafka team.

I dont know if I will be able to but i wantes to try for the longest time a fast xueyi with break efect subs and crit rate, the crit damage would come from sparkle, and a hanya that would bring xueyi speed on top of sparkle she she would act sparkle then gives har another turn and robin might be a good option to put here and since we would have so many action on 1 cycle we dont need a healer and with hanya and sparkle skill point shouldnt be issue, tho it sounds like alot of speed tuning btw i say xueyi because i just really want to play her seele probably works better since she allready has a ton of speed

Im surprised you didnt mention jing liu. I feel like robin is gonna pretty well with the jing liu bronya core as well, just cause of bronya push and jing liu getting two turns every time she enters her state. To me that seems like a lot of actions too. Obviously not the ideal home for robin, but should still be pretty decent. Still, great video and it helped me understand robin a bit better :)

I have come to feel very underwhelmed with the team building options, especially when it comes to filling in gaps with underwhelming 4*s that require a ton of investment to reach replacement level or requiring E1/light cones. I'm not sure Robin is worth it for me - biggest problem at this point is just determining who to pull for.

Depends on who and what you have. Are you struggling in any content, particularly MoC? If you're 36-starring, then you're good. If you're not there and WANT to be, then you might just need to keep working on builds.

@@Shayera01 MoC doesn't seem too bad yet. 36 might require some effort, but not completely impossible. PF, on the other hand, not even close. Just a lack of depth, not having any of the recent characters and reruns (excluding Fu Xuan).

I haven't seen anyone mention E0 Acheron, with 2 nihility support and Robin. essentially enabling Acheron to ult twice in 0 cycle. Jiaoqiu is a future nihility with heals and debuff (def shred like pela)

Hey man, super into your vids rn. Just wanna ask. I’m a day 1 player but quit around the first Kafka banner (never got Kafka after 100 pulls I got mad and quit). I’m back in HSR now and I’m thinking of forming a Seele - Robin - Serval (I just came back and they’re my most invested characters) + a Fu Xuan as a 4th when her banner comes out. Am I shooting myself in the foot with this line up?

Ive seen pretty much every video of you about Robin but i still have a question about if she is a neccesary unit for my account. My top DPS characters i have are Kafka, Acheron and Jingliu. My top sustains are Aventurine and Bailu. And the buffers/debuffers i use to make at least 2 teams are Asta, Bronya and Sampo. I have Dr.Ratio, Clara and Herta as my FuA units but i dont play them and i dont have them build at all. So my question is, does my account needs a Robin even though Robin shines the most in a FuA team? The worst part of all this is that Topaz is the rerun in 2.2 wich again is a FuA unit wich i dont use.. so my brain telling me to skip am i thinking right or do i miss something i didnt think about? How about Acheron/ Kafka and Black swan e1 ? I’m currently guaranteed the banner character, this is the first time I lost a 50/50 but lost it super early to a geppy e1, wanted to get get aventurine since I only been playing from Kafka re-run banner but seems the game will take me to hard pity ( nothing new 😭) but like I said I have e1 geppy and galla so would it be worth it to get robin?

11:13 I don't think this was a mistake on your part. I think you might have been putting Fire MC there for the new and upcoming imaginary version of the Trailblazer. Because there is a certain synergy with the characters that you put there, and our future and upcoming Trailblazer is a harmony unit. So this would be quite fitting for the topic of Duo Harmony, and the idea of combining this unit with Weakness Break (Ruan Mei, and Xueyi). In essence: You might have prepared this slide at a time when you didn't have, or haven't looked for a picture of the harmony Trailblazer. So that is why there is an enhanced picture of the fire Trailblazer. And that also explains the Harmony Logo, which is underneath the other Harmony-Units.

Robin is better overall as she can be slotted into other teams, while topaz can just get power crept but another fire dps. And she really needs s1e1 to really shine in dr ratio teams.

Wait for a harmony unit that drains HP. Sam drains HP just like Blade. And knowing how popular Sam is Mihoyo will capitalize on it and will release a support for Sam. Which most likely will work for Blade as well.

We all know robin won't be as good outside of fua because of the attacks, but out of curiosity. Could you hypercarry a dps with her and ting and negate that? Say use tings skill on the dps and funnel ult to robin?

@Isaaclow-sg6bo yeah I don't have ruan mei either and as I firefly wanter I want ruan mei too lol Yea jinglius best partner is ruan mei, I still use pela lol For what it's worth fu xuan is the reason I perfect cleared moc this run lol. Luocha couldn't keep tingyun alive in a hypercarry clara team vs aventurine but fu xuan cooked. I do have her light cone but still

Hey guys, i started HSR when Kafka was in the warp banner a couple months ago. I'm looking for team recommendations! I have every banner Character, 4 and 5 stars both, since that point. I just got done beating Jarilo VI and I'm TB level 50. Any tips are very much appreciated! Loving the game! I also have all the standard banner 5 stars except Yanqing.

Kafka’s rerun banner I presume? If you got kafka then build a dot team because its very easy to build and f2p friendly (kafka, sampo/black swan, ruan mei/asta, and a sustain), make a team with acheron, 2 nihilities (pela, and preferably silver wolf but you can use kafka here too, and a sustain) you’re pretty much set with this team. Because these 2 teams carried me in penacony’s story (i’m a day one player)

Chewy truly is the Robin salesman. Still think RM is better for break tho. This is mainly because while RM is best for break and DOT, every oher traditional dual DPS (and crit hypercarry) prefers Robin. It's pointless to compare the two when they're clearly geared for different team comps.

1. Im not fan of FUA teams with Topaz/Aventurine etc. - I think it's similar trap as with Kafka before, when u need whole brand new roster of characters to make things work (I don't have Topaz, nor Aventurine, since I have other tanks and buffers, so they feel very niche to me and waste of investment) 2. Thats why I will get Robin mostly to have COMFORT in Pure Fiction, I think she can buff damage for mainly Clara, Himeko+Herta, maybe Jing Yuan and I don't think she is a must for MoC 3. I can see Robin+Ruan Mei to be very strong combo since both of them going to add chunks of damage to each attack and that's exactly what "old" characters are a bit lacking with low scaling attacks 4. Future investment in Jade (which 99.9% is also FUA) also will work great with Robin, since I'm sure Pure Fiction going to be expanded sooner or later (and Seele won't be able to crack it easily in quantum), so aside from Erudition characters, buffers with group wide support and turn manipulations will be very welcomed

@@marinal8214 do you know any other way of communicating instead of talking in points 😂 Aventurine is not niche, his primary role is to be a good sustainer and he does that in absolutely any team you can think of save for Blade teams. Sure, you can utilize more of his FUA dmg in a FUA team, bit that doesn't diminish his worth as a sustainer (which he is). If that's the argument you want to use that means FX and Sparkle are niche because they are theoretically best utilized in QUA teams (and we both know that statement is bullshit). Gepard isn't cheaper. If you have him yes, you could build him instead of pulling for a new character but not everybody does and I doubt much people would spend their 300 guarantee on him, so in that regard he could also be more expensive if we are talking jades spent. In terms of building, pure sustain Aven is also easier to build due to not being burst reliant, having a shit ton of def in his traces and being a lot faster of a unit at base. Furthermore, he's a lot lot better than Gepard at what he does and you can't exactly argue against that. Ah, and also, I have not "turned on fangirl mode", for saying he's quite universal, I'm arguing with you on the basis of objective unit strengths. I'd advice you to try being less of a douche and actually properly engaging in conversations you yourself have started next time. Have a nice day.
