One thing I found in journey mode is that if you freeze time while you have a travelling merchant then keep killing it it will keep respawning and giving you different trades
I use dynasty shingles as a roof for literaly all of my builds, regardless of theme or if Im using the other dynasty items, its just the ultimate roof block
zuzu, I love the way you make your videos, I have autism and I hate loud videos that are really energetic but your videos are always really calming and nice. Thank you.
The captain America shield, I got one near the start of my first playthrough, carried me through pre and some of hardmode. It now has a special place in my heart.
Cap's Shield has gotten me past all three mech bosses without having to upgrade any of my weapons lmao. Mix that with fire gauntlet, destroyer emblem, berserker glove, and mechanical glove with oricalchum armor and it's literally a god tier item.
The Sergeant United shield absolutely carried me through early hard mode. The homing is SUPER aggressive, to the point where you can just hide behind cover and throw it into open air and if there are any enemies nearby, the shield will take care of the rest. It hits multiple enemies too, being guaranteed to hit at least three or four with each throw if there are enough targets in the area. Using things like the Ichor flask or Frost armor make it even more effective, as it is considered melee damage, so it will carry status effects to everything it hits. Fantastic for clearing out those aggressive hard mode mobs in areas with high spawn rates like the Underground Jungle and Desert. Sure you have to wait for it to come back, but that's a small price to pay for the ability to attack from safety in areas with enemies that can one or two shot you from a distance. It's even pretty good against bosses! I killed the Destroyer and Skeletron Prime with it; it hits multiple Destroyer segments and can even clear out the probes, while it will also do damage to multiple Prime hands at a time. While it wasn't the fastest, it was very reliable and took a lot of the mental load off because I could just throw the shield and dodge. I didn't have to worry about aiming. Just don't try it against the Twins, because it will hit them both, and you _really_ don't want them to enter phase 2 at the same time.
u probs wont see this but your videos are so nice to watch, your voice is soft enough its not annoying, its perfect, and your good at getting to the point and it helps out. im just starting with terraria content on streams and this is REALLY helpful!!! thank you!
Me: hey can you sell me a stopwatch Merchant: no but I can give you a dps meter Me: but you've sold me the dps meter like 3 times Merchant: well sorry this is all I got Me: you're literally holding a stopwatch in you hand Merchant: oh no this isnt for sale Me: **grabs infinite lava bucket**
Personally, I love buying pad thai and stuff like that for tons of medium buffs, and dynasty wood to swap out for wood so you dont have to chop some down yourself.
That shield is a god tier item. I got this item on the very first day after hardmode and used it for so long. I know your con was that you can only throw one, but it's damage is insane, and with the power glove, you can hold click and it swings at all times. I used this all the way until the mechanical bosses in master mode. Super super busted.
The very first traveling merchant I got had the cube and I had no idea about it’s rarity, i just got the game last week so ik I couldn’t have afforded it but it’s still cool
Holy when he said the agel halo was the rarest i tyought that was the most common bcause i keep getting traveling merchants to sell it what i didnt get was the pulse bow
It’s just not worth. By that point you can get the Daedalus Stormbow or if you’re really ambitious you get the tsunami. The pulse bow is rare and frankly irrelevant.
He was selling ultralight torches a while ago, so i picked up a stack to try them out. I should have bought more, im out and he hasn't brought them since.
Is the Gai new or did you forget to mention it? Im doing my first expert mode playthrough and the merchant offered me the gai my first day, so i didnt have to mine any ore since i also had an ancient shadow helmet drop and snow pants. That was enough to beat eater of worlds, eye of cathulu and the snow clops thing i forget its name lol but seriously this thing is fantastic early game if rng is on your side. Or just find a marble biome and get full gladiator gear
You forgot about the legendary Pho and Pad Thai stats booster foods. Helped a lot while exploring surface biomes (especially that damn crimson/jungle!!)
Sound good but I am a more a sea food cuisine type of person......easy to catch and give major buff of stat the downside you need good bait and fishing rod......no worries since the jungle has a easily bait farm by smashing the bushes grub, slugy and my favorite bait is da buggy........I once use lady bug as a bait.........I learn that's a big no no to my luck.......
Meanwhile me waiting for ranger and melee full guides (no pressure tho there are others on the internet and you have done a summary of them in that one playlist)
@@an18yearoldmongolianguy the returns to effort ratio is too low for me to make a full playthrough series, so I won't make those types of videos anymore
@@Zuzucorn Yeah i am kinda following it, i kinda mostly do casual things and the classes expert mode guide are very specific and fast so ill try 👍 but im really hoping you would make a guided series for casual in expert mode🙂
The companion cube stabbing you in the dark is probably (probably not actually) a reference to a gmod creepy pasta where the companion cube would slowly creep up behind you while you weren’t looking and kill you when it got close
hey @Zuzucorn, can you make a calamity mod progression video? calamity is to confusing for my tiny brain so if you could make a guide on it that would epic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I remember like 4 or 5 years ago when I was playing terraria on my iPad I found that you couldn’t leave your world and come back which would change its inventory
the sitting ducks fishing pole is the rarest for me. every playthrough I usually see 2-3 angel halos sold by the traveling merchant- edit: wait nvm the pulse bow is, for years I have never encountered or got that bow
Actually both of the zapinators can be used without consuming mana if you're wearing meteor armour as it's full set bonus reduces the mana cost to 0 for both if they space gun end the zapinators !!!
I found the halo the companion cube and the orange lazer blaster thing 2 times and one time I was trying to get the orange Lazer thing again and he sold the orange Lazer thing and the halo and I got the companion cube 2 times in a row
you say that you don't use the celestial magnet because it takes up an accessory slot that could be used for more damage but the celestial emblem is tied for the best damage emblem for mage classes
Me: Confused when he says that the Pulse Bow can only be bought after defeating Planterra when I got it from a traveling merchant before I even defeated my first mechanical boss. Is this just a glitch or has the game been updated?
From the wiki: "it is available after defeating all three mechanical bosses, while on the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version, Nintendo Nintendo 3DS version version, and Legacy tModLoader version Legacy tModLoader version, it is available after defeating Plantera." It used to be post-plantera on desktop as well. Changed in 1.4.4.
what i do when travelling merchant arrive in journey mode is pause the time immediately. then if give my bad stuff i just kill him with lava and he's gonna spawn again with other stuff to sell.
I need soul of night/ligt afk farm I try to make 1.3 farm and thats not working I die by worm in corruption cavern and i die by a flying sword in cavern hallow
Rare items scale with your luck stat! Drinking a luck potion, being nearby a garden gnome, or using the correct biome torch underground, all help traveling merchant stock!
