In my last video I showed you a hack which makes winding a Tesla coil much easier. But the point is, we still have to wind the coil ourselves. It would be incredible if we could just press a button and the coil would wind automatically. This is not science fiction or magic, this is reality guys. But let's start from the beginning.

Could you possibly upload the code used in this winder? I am working on building my own. Thanks :)

That's so cool, it's amazing it even winds it fairly decent at all given the extreme tolerances.

Love your projects and videos! I almost spit out my food laughing when you did the segment on bragging when the female voice asked if you are good at anything and you answered 'winding Tesla coils by hand' then winking. 😂

thinner wire, more resistance, lower Q factor. Must be for a very high frequency coil to work.
@treasuretotrash2067
@treasuretotrash2067 2 года назад
Thinner wire means more windings which means more inductance, which means lower resonant frequency. It would be a low resonant frequency coil but probably low output from the high secondary resistance right?
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo 2 года назад
@@treasuretotrash2067 yes, to keep resistance low you would need less windings for high output, thus high frequency

Great video. In your wire feeder what type of Groove Bearing Pulley did you use? Are the STL files available for your wire guide?

I think using a sensor to "see where the coil end is and adjusting the wire accordingly will simplify the system and remove many variables.

Tolle Maschine!
