From personal experience, I would highly recommend a trunk liner, ideally watertight and with at least a bit of a rim. The official one maybe 130$, but I've seen some for more like 30, and they can really save you from many types of spills, as well as sand or earth. Pretty much the same logic as the screen protector and floor mats. Easier to clean, removable, and in the absolut worst case fairly cheap to fully replace in comparison to what would have happend without.

I really like the wood on the tesla...I love the fact that you can get it on a model 3 as well..I'm used to driving Mercedes so I think it gives it a classy look and also a bit familiar for me as well..To each their own of course..I just hope tesla keeps the wood dash as an option. Thanks for the video as well...this is the only video I have found that actually shows me new and useful tesla accessories that I didn't know existed...I've been looking at a bunch if these videos and they are all the same..but this one gave me something new :).

Well, this is very appropriate for me. I ordered a model Y last August and it will be delivered next week, finally. I'm trading in my 2019 model 3 at the same time. I think you did that as well. And also similar to you, I was t-boned by red light runner last September. Had to get driver side doors replaced. A 3-month wait for a shop in Houston and another month for the repair. Uggg The model Y is taller with more room inside. The 3 always felt like a too-small sports car. BTW, I compared my August 21 price for the dual-motor long-range blue Y I'm paying, with the identical model's February 22 price. It's gone up by $7,000! $5,000 for the car and $2000 for FSD. I never thought of getting a screen protector and I like those floor mats.

HI Ryan! Thanks for a very useful video, you do great work! I'm saving your info because I'm interested in buying 90% of the items you presented. One area I didn't see covered...center instrument gauge cluster screens. The lack of a center console screen in the Model 3 and Y is my biggest Tesla complaint. Every other EV (or car) on the planet has them...and I want one. Would you be open to reviewing after-market products that correct this situation for the Model 3 and Model Y?

I'm with most of these recommendations EXCEPT the Teslarati center console organizers. You can find better versions on evannex and amazon. The Teslarati arm rest tray is too bendy in the front and has a tendency to slip downwards if you put even a little bit of weight on it. Also the combined center console/armrest package costs MORE than buying them separately on Teslarati (at least as of 2/28/22)

All weather mats are a must. The OEM floor mats are absurdly cheap. Another must have is the cup holder insert. Without it the cup holder is damn near useless.

The center arm rest cover is really good to protect your actual leather from in our case 2 dogs, but also kids. If they scratch it up coming up to say hello, no biggie.

No one seems to sell the most important accessories I needed for my Model 3, so for other DIY enthusiasts, here are detailed descriptions. 1. Sunnies/specs holders: It should be illegal for any manufacturer to sell cars in Australia that don't have a holder for your sunnies! Fortunately, it's easy to stick the hard cases your sunnies and regular specs came with to the dashboard panel on either side of the steering wheel using double-sided body mounting tape. 2. Anti-glare trim patches: The white interior is a must in sunny Queensland, but the ends of the dashboard trim panel reflect into the side mirrors, obscuring the rear view. To fix, simply stick a piece of matt vinyl (or Alcantara fabric in "anthracite", if you want to match the door trim exactly) over the last 15cm on either side. 3. Right Side Footrest: Autopilot is great, but you still need to keep your right foot handy for emergencies. Unfortunately, there's nowhere convenient to rest it close to the pedals. I got a length of 25x25mm aluminium box section in satin black (with plastic end caps) and mounted it at the same angle as the pedals (but 5mm closer to me) using double-sided body mounting tape to the plastic side panel (RH drive car). Now if I need to, I can slip my right foot off the footrest and onto the accelerator or brake pedal very easily. 4. Non-slip floor mats: My $28,000 Mazda 3 had better mats than the Model 3. Why? Because they had two plastic grommets at the rear which fitted over raised studs in the floor to stop them moving around. However, it's not that difficult to make your own from a couple of short 10mm bolts (with large flat washers and a black plastic end cap) and fit them into the carpet using double-sided body mounting tape and impact adhesive. Cut two holes in the mat and glue in a couple of grommets that are a push fit onto the end caps of the bolts. Top tip: to get the position right, fit the mat grommets first, then position the mat correctly in the footwell and mark the holes for the bolts.

Ordered a screen protector, performance pedals and cup holders from abstract ocean 2 weeks ago with their “free shipping” and they still have not arrived. I try and use small businesses, but always end up going back to Amazon. My Y was delivered 3 days ago after a 5 month wait. Ordered all my Matts and organizers from Tesla, as well as Charger.

Nice review Ryan - clearly people need to go by their own tastes and budgets but generally most Tesla owners are willing/able to spend a bit for a good product. Two quickies: 1) for CA residents like myself, I'd recommend looking at the front "license plate wrap" option - it's pretty cool and 2) re: 3D second row seat covers, you're supposed to cut out those holes to access the hooks but it looks pretty bad (even poor photos on their website). Especially for the look/price, I personally chose TuxMat, but to each their own. Keep up the great vids!

Most accessories can be gotten in AliExpress for a deep discount. I got a white yoke steering wheel for like $450 where Hansshow wanted $800++. Definitely look at the seller's history before ordering. But I've had great experiences ordering the same Chinese shit Amazon sells anyway at a markup.

For front trunk organizer, it is kind of weird ,in USA they only sell bottom piece , since those are made in China , I found China does sell a combo front trunk organizer which included bottom piece as video shows and also has another top piece with a solid board In between

Front mud flaps and PPF on the rear doors should come stock on all model Y cars. A few days of snowy winter driving in Mammoth without this protection sand blasted my lower rear doors. Need to repaint.

Tesla has all weather mats on their website that’s less expensive than the 3D ones listed. Also, when I ordered the 3D, it had been 3 months and I still haven’t received them. I bought teslas and they came within a week

Try TuxMat - excellent quality, nice looking, and a fraction of the cost! 3D look really great but they're no better quality, look or fit than TuxMat.
