I love Baños, it's truly a magical place. The thing about Baños is that you'll never go back to the same place twice. With each visit, there will be 10 new attractions and a whole different experience.
This place is super awesome, I would also explore loja if you have the opportunity I am coming back there relatively soon. As a US citizen I found Ecuador refreshing with its people and food.
I wish we were able to😭 my boyfriends grandma was born in Loja so we really wanted to check it out but it just didn’t fit in with our plans. Next time tho! Ecuador is just amazing, so happy you’re headed back soon!
Another great informative video! Thank you for admitting that the bike the falls tour wasn't the piece of cake that every other vlogger said it was. I'm travelling with someone who has knee issues so I'm concerned it might be too much. Especially since neither one of us has been on a bike in years.
Thank you so much!! Yeah it’s definitely not a piece of cake at all LOL. So especially since you’re with someone with knee issues, I wouldn’t do it. The most impressive waterfall is the last one El Diablo, so I’d just take a bus or taxi to that one and walk around instead. It’s the only one that has restaurants and shops too, all other waterfalls you just pull over to the side to snap photos and then keep biking.
@@SheRunTheWorld I’m trying to decide what type of camera to bring since people keep saying not to have expensive things visible. Do you think a GoPro would be an issue?
Once you're there, you'll find that there's even more to do, there's zip lining over gorges, pendulum swings from various bridges, bungee jumping, canyoning, cable cars and that's not even to mention all the theme parks and cool overlook points. Baños is not only so much fun and affordable but it's magical.
Oh awesome! You’ll have a great time. Yeah we had 2 full days in Baños and I think it was enough. Day 1: bike the waterfall route in the morning & swing at the end of the world in the afternoon Day 2: White water rafting in the morning & hot springs and massages in the afternoon 😊
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I’m actually not sure- I just walked up and down Baños downtown streets and popped into all the tourist activity shops and compared prices. Went with the cheapest one!!
No, but I travel a lot so I have a very tough stomach! Plus I’d already been in South America for 2 months before heading to Ecuador. But I didn’t meet anyone who got food poisoning or anything while traveling Ecuador!
