Ahh! The situation with the shoe “cleaner”! Im glad it didnt escalate-cant believe that happened. But wow, that cathedral was so beautiful. The stripes with combo of colors is so intriguing and i love it 😍 I would also rank the salt cathedral really high-such architectural design is so spectacular and unique. Being underground, in this seemingly very religious space…with a souvenir shop and restaurAnt. Not sure if the food was unique but the experience would def be amazing!

When you say no, they still put detergent on your shoes anyway so you're stuck with them until they clean it.

@@feieverywherethey are everywhere in Bogotá, I've encounter them in Portal Norte in Zona T and in Candelaria, best way I've found to deal to them is not even acknowledge them just continue your way, don't say anything just keep walking.

Thanks, I actually went to monserrate. I included it in the intro. I had hormiga culona from a lady selling them at ticket counter 😂 and a wonderful lunch at cafe santa clara. The view from the top is stunning. I didn't include in this video because it didn't make the cut. Not sure if anyone would wanna watch a 40mins video lol

Be careful of those shoe cleaner guys, I had one of them squirt the same liquid on my shoe near Andino Shopping Mall. I had already told him no multiple times and continued walking away then out of nowhere as I was walking he bent down at put it on my shoe without me realising. At that point I was so annoyed I could have gone ape shite on him. I continued walking away and cleaned it off myself but turned back and noticed there was a group of them doing the same thing on the corner which is in a very nice part of the city. P.S it's worth visiting Andino Shopping Mall because it is very beautiful, just like almost every shopping mall I have visited in Bogota !

DO NOT LET PEOPLE THROW STUFF AT YOUR SHOES, this is a tipical scam that many people use to tourist and local people, inmedietly u have to scream them out cause then u going to have more problems.
