So happy to see Mom out on the road trip with you. Continued prayers 🙏 for her health. Great job Mike Thank you so much for sharing. I love seeing Germany
We enjoyed our trip to Hamburg. We went to St Michaels. Miniature wonderland and the boat tour too :). I loved the miniature place but it was very crowded. My son loved ordering a hamburger in Hamburg from a hamburger
happy to see your mom in very good healthy and gave us big smiles again, and thanks for taking us with you driving to Hamburg and enjoyed the views from the roof top, and the story about bridges at Hamburg more than 2500 bridges is amazing ..
She didn’t stop talking. Great video… I went to Germany in December 22 for the first time I went to cologne to see my friend, great place and great country.
Mike my Mom just told Me that Her paternal Grandma came to South Africa in the 18 00ds from Hamburg and that she was a garden teacher for young children ,My mom was 11 years old when her grandma passed away . Thanks for showing Us these places !
Amazing Hamburg has the most bridges in Europe! I spent a long weekend in Hamburg, but did not pick that up! We stayed at the Atlantic Kempinski Hotel. It was lovely! Great trip. We spend as much time on boats as possible!
This is not really true if you look into it deeply, Amsterdam has some 5,172 bridges, consisting of 1,891 to which the authorities have allocated numbers, 95 in private ownership, 42 locks, 1,471 bridges or overpasses which are unnumbered and 1,673 duikers which, loosely translated, are akin to a culvert. This may well knock the German claim into a cocked hat, although I can’t help thinking we are not comparing like with like. But the Dutch are not finished yet. They point out that the land area within Amsterdam’s city limits is less a third of that of Hamburg and so on a density basis, their city comes out on top.
Very glad your Mom's house ok and you took her to Hamburg....I could have done with less of the lady talking but it's a job for her...Take care...dont let Mom get too cold....

Just catching up with some of your videos. Love Hamburg. I have family there and been many times. Miniature Wonderland is great. I'm tempted by your hotel now to go visit again! Hope to be there with the Dom in the summer so we'll see! Hummel Hummel. Tchuss.
I visited Hamburg many years ago. I'd like to go back check it out again. I did go to the Fischmarkt after a night of barhopping. Took a train out to Blankenese. Thanks Mike - it was a nice nostalgia trip for me.
Thank you very much for your generous donation. I appreciate it and I love it that you like my video. I had a great time more videos are coming from embarq. Thank you.
That was so funny. I love what you said, "he is saving 1 Euro because his mom is not with him", as he P'd outside. Glad to see your mom is doing well and enjoying your experiences. Nice boat ride. Maybe when you come back to LA, you can do a video in San Pedro, Los Angeles Harbor and Long Beach. Hard Rock is fun. When I first time I traveled solo in College, it was cool to visit all the Hard Rock Cafe's and collect t-shirts. I'v been to Hards Rock London, Amsterdam, New York, then eventually, I started enjoying going to local places. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to the miniature vid.
Almost brings tears to my face. Reminds me of my travels with my mother before she passed away. some of my most cherished memories. Do tell her how much she means to you. Your mom reminds me so much of my mom. Keep up the great work!!!

Glad you could visit your church GIV. When I was a taxi driver in Orillia, Canada 20 years ago, a lovely old couple from Hamburg that lived in Orillia were customers. Interesting fact about 2,500 bridges in Hamburg. 👍
Also, the original lineup of the Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best regularly performed at different clubs in Hamburg, West Germany, during the period from August 1960 to December 1962.
I was stationed in Bad Kreuznach. I was in the Army. It was amazing. Loved your video......Rose Barracks was there. I was at Kuhberg Kaserne. It was a German hospital.
Another great city video Mike. Hi Mom so glad you joined Mike on this trip and the update on your place in Turkey. Like I said I will never get a chance to get to the places in Europe where you have taken us Mike. I am so glad Adam The Woo put me onto you a while ago. Just love you videos. Yes even the ones in California, my favorite place to visit.
It’s nice seeing you out with your Mum Mike, visiting places in Germany. Hamburg is an amazing city! I like the contrasts in Hamburg. On one side you have residential, offices, cafes, concert halls, shops and open spaces, while on the other is germanys industrial machine, ploughing away, to keep Germany ticking over. I have a great admiration for Germany, how it maintains its manufacturing, and refuses to outsource everything to China, like most countries do in the western world. Hoping Germany can be the inspiration to inspire a renaissance in manufacturing again, creating new jobs, and breathing new life into communities, from America to England and Australia and beyond. :)
