Trying to decide whether to go next year. This helps! Any tips on hotels? tour guide is saying not much difference between 3, 4 and 5 star hotels. Really?
Can't comment on the price difference but we stayed in the 3 star Hotel Residencial Los Frayles and it was comfortable for a couple of nights. The room was very basic but the lounge/pool area was nice 🙂 hope you go! Paracas is worth it for the Ballestas Islands!
thank you! :) here's an up to date page with good info for drone pilots drone-laws.com/drone-laws-in-peru/ You're supposed to register you're drone when you enter the country and pay a tax based on the value of your drone, which you then should get back when you leave. In practice it's unlikely they will check if you didn't feel like declaring it.
Due to the ongoing political situation in Peru, we advise you to take particular care when planning a trip to the country. Contact your travel agency or provider and check the government website for up to date details. Make sure you have travel insurance before leaving! Travel to Peru is still possible but will likely be more difficult and unpredictable than when we were in the country.
Hi. We pinned a comment to this video which explains our point of view on it. We don't want to say if it's safe or not so you should definitely check your government's travel advice for up to date information 👍
Hi! The Ballestas Islands tour was about $20 and the Golden Shadows Hike was about $30 (including entry to the park which you had to pay separately). The first tour where we went to the red beach was included in our Peru Hop tickets so we didn't pay for that one 👍
