Great video! I will be going to Phuket this winter. How much was the resort? I wasn’t able to find the price on their website. Also, for the elephant sanctuary, do you have to make an appointment or just arrive whenever?

Thank you so much! glad you enjoyed watching ♥️ Prices vary per season so we would suggest you call the resort and ask directly or you could also try to book through expedia.com or any other booking websites. There aren’t many rooms so make sure you book asap. for the elephant sanctuary you don’t need to make an appointment just arrive and they will set you up, be sure you have your swim suit with you! Have fun!

Thanks you for this video. I am travelling to Phuket soon with my husband for our anniversary so this gives me many ideas. We will stay for 10 days. How long were you there? Can you tell more about scooter hire? Did you need a motorbike license? We only have a car license so wondering if we could still hire. Thanks again

Thank you for watching! Glad you got some ideas!!! To rent a scooter in Thailand, they only ask to see your passport. It’s best to get an international drivers license, which is a document that proves you’re licensed to drive in your home country, as police will not accept simply your home country’s driver’s license. You can find out the simple process to get one online. Be safe and enjoy!

Hey Molleen! great question! Digital payment methods like apple pay or google pay and/or credit card is the easiest way to pay at bigger stores and hotels, but for smaller markets, shops, tuktuks/taxis and street vendors, we recommend to have some small bills of Thai money (Baht). Most smaller vendors won’t have change for large bills, and it’s safer to carry smaller amounts of money.

hey!!! omg have fun! we stayed in Kata Noi Beach area but it was very easy to get around the island so don’t worry about it! you can take taxi everywhere! it’s very convenient and not too expensive. or you can rent a bike like we did 😃

we actually went to the front desk at the hotel and asked about tours. there are so many and they are all really awesome! either going with a group or private boat. it depends what you are looking for :)

Do they require license using e scooter?

As far as we know (and experienced) you only need to show passport when renting a scooter and we also had an international driver license just in case
