Wow... I remember pigeon island when there were no new structures on it... (late 60s)... Breaks my heart to see all that development... I went to a camp on one of those beaches called "Bahamas Sailing Camp..." It was beautiful !
Pigeon Point has had lots of development in the area over the years. There are two resorts near the island. Sandals Grande and The Landings Resort. Pigeon Point is still beautiful, pristine and protected though.
@@allysonschupbach7342 Thx Allyson.... Believe it or not our camp was at a former hotel there.... The camp would rent if for the entire summer... We were the ONLY entity on any of that gorgeous beach... Again , breaks my heart to see it all "MIAMI-IZED.." But I guess it's good for their economy :( .
Thanks for sharing my beautiful island. I had a good laugh listening to your pronunciation of the towns. They’re French names so I get it😊 I enjoy watching your vids. They’re very authentic and informative. Beacon Restaurant is now on my list for the next visit home. 👌🏽
Great video. I've spent a few months there and just want to point out it's not a British Territory [as you stated around the 15:15 mark], they gained independence from the UK in the 1970s.
The Doctor Dollittle movie snail was actually on the beach back when I visited Soufriere Beach.... Sorry to see all the damn development, I guess its unavoidable !
Thanks you so much for your new remarkable video today’s from Saint Lucia in March of 2024❤❤❤I really LOVE to watches your amazing videos in joy 2024❤❤❤
