You left out Zoo Tampa which is among the Top 25 Zoo's in the U.S. , also Adventure Island which is the Water Park directly across from Busch Gardens which has 30 acres of water slides. And lastly MOSI The Museum of Science and Industry.
Tampa does have beaches, but the ones in Clearwater in Saint Pete, or nicer. But Clearwater and St. Pete are part of the Tampa metro area. Tampa is only 4 miles away from Saint Pete and Clearwater. The only thing that separates time is a bridge.
I moved to Tampa from Minneapolis about nine months ago. Other than the winter month's weather being warm, it's been a major downgrade. The traffic is horrendous, no real public transportation to speak of, it storms every single day during the summer, the downtown sucks with nothing to do and there is zero night life downtown, you can't even get a bite to eat after 9pm. Everything north of downtown is nothing but slums and poverty, and rent is ridiculously high, and the list goes on. When I finish college I plan to move back to my home state of New York.
