It’s pronounced “with”. My town Wytheville is named after him. Our high school is George Wythe.

Wythe House is NOT pronounced with a long “Y”. It’s said like WITH. It was George WYTHE (WITH) who lived there.

I am sorry to have to correct you, Virginia's Historical Triangle does not include Georgetown as you stated at the beginning of this video. Maybe it was a slip of the tongue. Instead of Georgetown, Jamestown is the 3rd city that makes up Virginia's Historical Triangle. I live close to Yorktown and have been to all 3. It is a nice area and educational too for the whole family.

Could you perhaps have an acknowledgment of Captain Hubert Ferrell and the events at kings creek during Bacons Rebellion? He served under Berkeley and lost his life defending Jamestown.

Gaol is pronounced jail. It is the British spelling for the American jail.

It’s also NOT the Public Goal. It’s the Public Gaol ( English spelling for Jail) pronounced JAIL!!!! Did you even go to this place or just rip off other’s videos, etc.? ( like you ripped off my business ghost tour videos without asking permission!!!!)

My guy, you took the tour and you STILL can't pronounce Wythe correctly? It should sound the same as the word "with".

Come to Philadelphia instead where real modern people still live in colonial housing. In other words prospective visitors please don't think of the historical part of Phila. as a theme park. Thanks!
