Kids nowadays are so privileged with so much entertainment around them, so fun! Even i want to check out these places because i didn’t grow up with all these things. Hope they stay grounded and appreciate what they have.
The malls in SEA are awesome, they bring people together. The malls here in the US don't really focus on that, which is why they are slowly dying. The only mall in the US that really competes with SEA is Mall of America in Minnesota.
so fun to see people and kids everywhere, living here in suburban US its like ghost town compared to vietnam, wishing vietnam's agriculture keep doing good so the food are cheap > people everywhere eating out.

i would love to see you and your family to go to a waterpark because in my opinion it is one of the best attractions to go to since it always hot and humid
like others have said, love your family, your kids are so beautiful. need to see more of your wife though .. My wife and I are really enjoying your content. thanks so much and keep up the great work!
In District 7, there’s a small indoor water park called The WaterWay Premium Kids Club & Cafe. It’s a nice place to take your kids, with reasonable pricing-$8 for one child and one adult on weekends.
right........ kids can last for an hour, IF they stayed at that Timezone arcade.... i had to chase my nieces and nephews around , and boy oh boy, let me tell you, without the coffee and cigs, i would prolly just napped at the chairs . and yes, vietnam's arcade center is one of the most safest , wide variety game centers there are.
Love bánh mì, but having fish cake and cilantro with bread for breakfast is just too strange for my kids. We'd usually avoid oily food in the morning, so it's usually oatmeal, yogurt, crêpes/pancakes with berries, cereals, etc.
About how malls in Vietnam are "booming", I feel like they're getting more and more saturated/out of trend. Especially after COVID, a lot of store fronts shut down and some malls are essentially "dead", like those in the State. Went to Pearl Plaza in Binh Thanh and it was like that. Other central districts like D1, D5,.. are still going strong though. Just keep an eye out for empty malls.
Great one Chad - thanks. Can you do one tour about Starbucks in Saigon. Looks like they have few around Saigon river and Thu Thiem now, also in celadon city in Tan Phu district
Malls suck. They are owned by big business or billionaires, rent gouge their tenants and pull spending away from local family owned small business. Not bagging Chad for taking his kids to a mall, but the business model of large mall/shopping complexes is the antithesis of vibrant small family owned shopping/eating districts. I liked the absence of American franchises & Western style shopping malls in Vietnam 20 years ago, but I guess that era's gone. Unlike me, my Vietnamese partner loves shopping malls & supermarkets.
