@@TheTourGuyVids Milan Centrale is amazing. We also use Garibaldi which is much easier to navigate. It had been 5 years since we were last in Milan so you can imagine how excited we were to return. Metro is so easy to use as well.
Verona is great. Also enjoyed the day trip around Lago di Garda, including a couple of dips in the lake and an absolutely epic six or seven course prix fixe meal. Going back to Milan next week. Then Venice, then Spain. Two weeks in all.
You are right, Milan is underappreciated! We have our second visit booked for this July. The Brera District is out favorite for Aperitivo and Cena! It has a great location for day trips to the Lake District and Turin as well.

I would, however, consider putting the Italian phrases/food and place names below on the screen when you speak them. I'm sure your pronunciation is accurate, but it can be difficult to sort the syllables and/or words out, especially if you are attempting to take notes or otherwise commit them to memory... Ciao!
The legend of stepping on the balls of the bull. It’s not a tradition. There was something else - a gesture of disrespect towards Turin, capital at the time and whose symbol is the bull - but the story of twisting on its balls to come back to Milan is a recent “tradition” invented by an anonymous tour guide.
@@TheTourGuyVids Well, visiting is often very different from living in a place. The phrase, " a great place to visit" is not a cliche for nothing. Or as you say, "we've always had fun there..." So I get oscarpezzoli's comment, especially if the hustle & bustle of a city isn't for you. Don't know if I would feel the same, but I get it.
Depends on where you live in Milan. My flat is right in front of a park and traffic is basically non-existent. Much quieter than many other cities and towns I've visited in Italy.
Great video Angel - as always. Now I know why I haven't made it back there - I was told to spin 3 times on the bull's privates to bring good luck. Now I know it's only once - doh!! 😥😥
