Clips of star wars rebels season 3 with best thrawn moments part 1.There is going to be another part. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ If you liked that you will love this "RDR 2 Arthur is a SAVAGE" • Video ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
The Sequel trilogy has been concluded and let’s just say you don’t want Thrawn in those movies. They might have turned him into The Last Jedi Hux so fast.
@@b.gronebaum4360 don't worry. I believe he is going to be the big bad at the end of the build up of all the Disney+ shows. And rumor has it, Lars Mikkelsen is going to be playing him in live action as well, so it should be pretty awesome.
@@kiligan6525 yeah Lars Mikkelson is amazing as Thrawn, he’s always so soft-spoken and almost whisper quiet, yet in total control of the situation at all times. He’s able to remain intimidating without ever raising his voice. Truly a cut above even the greatest of imperial officers
"Not everyone is able to appreciate art as I do" 6:35 . After reading the Thrawn book, Eli Vanto wasn't able to either, but had a more respectful outlook than Slavin. Perhaps Thrawn remembered Eli at that time and was like: God I wish I had him right now.
Eli may had not completely understood Thrawn's tactics (such as his dissection of art at least, until after his plan was executed) but he definitely understood numbers and that too was helpful to fighting pirates and rebels in the book.
I love how Thrawn can barely tolerate his lessor officers. Unlike other imperial admirals Thrawn seems to understand you can’t just keep the empire together through fear alone. That’s why he’s so amicable to the enemy. He tries to understand them, and if he had more power, not only would the empire likely have won, it probably would have lasted significantly longer as it ruled through a mix of fear and brutality, and also political maneuvering.
Well Thrawn is also trying to prepare for the Yuzzang Vong invasion, he needs the empires resources, from his perspective he can't afford to purge his officers
He probably hates the bureaucracy too. So many officials probably got appointed through nepotism or knowing the right people; Thrawn had to earn his way to the top on account of Empire being fairly… specieist? You rarely see a non human in empire, rarer to see one in a high ranking position
"Now that I have your attention, know this: whatever you build here, you will test personally. I expect your 'malfunction rates' to drop substantially." Bass ass level at A+.
The scene with Hera was spectacular, how he puts the pieces together from knowing the art and history and unmasked her. I also he introduces her with respect! And his theme music so chilling and amazing!
When Thrawn appears in a scene and the organs start playing i always feel a cold chill running down my back. The rebels were lucky that other imperial officers were so damn incompetent and stormtroopers couldn't hit shit, that not even Thrawn could compensate this forever. And once he was gone, the rebels started winning battles. But before all they could do was shit their pants and run like hell as soon as he appeared on the battlefield. Not even Vader had this effect.
Thrawn is one of the best Star Wars characters hands down and is the best villain aside from Vader and the emperor. I love the fact that he respects his enemies and admires their tactics in war. Very admirable, ironically fitting.
Thrawn isn't evil, he's just disciplined, and to fulfill his objectives, he needs the Empire to thrive. The rebels are a threat to that, hence the iron fist.
Chiss are actually very Noble warriors that will stop at nothing to achieve what they arrived for. Thrawn included. The test was justified as an act of war. Reguardless thrawn was with the empire for them to assist his people.
Thrawn is my favorite Imperial Leader, (although it's hypocritical, cos i hate the Empire) he is quite brilliant in philosophies, art and culture, as well ad strategies and tactics, to beat his enemies and he anticipates them and makes them predictable.
as soon as i found out about thrawn i started reading the comics about him those when he almost captured coruscant. That was brilliant.I love that he isnt the classic star wars villain. He doesn't usually kill imperial troops when they fail unlike someone like Darth Vader. He considers it as waste of resources.
one of the main reasons I like Thrawn so much as a villain is that he brings something that the empire barely seems to have- VARIETY. The separatists were a unified group from multiple cultures, and each had it's own race, technologies and unique characters. The empire however, has almot no aliens serving in it that I know of (except for Thrawn), and their technology and gadgets follow a similar way of design. Thrawn feels like a breez of fresh air, not just because of him being an alien, but his interest in other cultures as well. Thrawn feels like the only member of the empire that sees the worth of knowing about other species. hell, even his own bodyguard, Rukh, is someone from another alien race. Tbh, the empire feels like a way too narrow minded organization to have someone like Thrawn being a member of it.
I am glad they re-canonized Thrawn and did him right. Now we just need “Legendary” people like Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Jan Ors, Corran Horn, Natasi Daala, Ysanne Isard, and Sate Pestage to return to canon.
I do wish they hadn't given him pupils though. The lack of pupils and the calm, collected voice gave Thrawn a very ominous presence in the Thrawn Trilogy.
Sadly, I highly doubt they’ll ever do Mara Jade because they’re too scared to recast Luke and the deepfake CGI is too expensive/too much work to do long-term.
Thrawn is so scary. He doesnt act all tough and intimidating like most of the other imperial officers, and in a way this makes him even more intimidating. He's calm, collected, and extremely intelligent (he has to have an iq of like 250 or something). What most imperials would see as a loss, he always says "yes, we did lose, but..." then share some shpeal about how they revealed themselves in the process. This is why he's probably my favorite imperial officer of them all.
Thrawn's voice actor is so good that when I started reading Heir to the Empire trilogy again recently this is the voice I hear and it really fits with his words from those books as well.
I remember when an early teaser showed him getting angry and I worried they’d muck up his characterization. Then I saw how much of an insufferable twit Slavin was and realized how much patience Thrawn must’ve had to not snap at him sooner.
Sometimes I wonder in a clash of intelligence who could uphand the others between David Xanathos (Gargoyles) Light Yagami (the anime Death Note, not the Movie done in the USA), Batman (the greatest detective) and Grand admiral Thrawn...............................probably a draw because universe will explode by too much awesomeness combined
Lars Mikklesen's voice is so soothing and hypnotic. He perfectly portrays his confidence and expertise with stoic yet calm brilliance. I hope he pulls off the same presence in the live action Ahsoka TV series.
Huh. I didn't noticed that Thrawn respects art and the history. Art is also a part of my interest. I think Thrawn is a character for me. I am not a strategist but art is my thing.
My favorite part about Thrawns story was that he was initially sent to prepare the Empire against another threat, but gets caught up in the larger politics of the Empire. He was clearly a military genius, but succumbs to his own hubris.
I can't believe he studies every detail in most scenarios to get a leg up on his enemies, It's honestly terrifying because he can almost figure out what the rebels are planning and make a counter to it.
If they bring out a live version of Thrawn, I can't wait who they are going to cast as him. Lars Mikkelsen, Jason Isaacs, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Fassbender, Christian Bale. Anymore good choices for this role? A dark, deep but yet soothing voice. High level of vocabulaire. Can sound menacing as well. But always stays calm.
When Kallus said that the battle of baton had more civilian deaths than criminal deaths we often forget that those civilian deaths were because of pryce, not thrawn
If I ever become the general of a military I am using all of thrawn's ideas and methods "To defeat an enemy you must know them. Not simply their battle tactics, but their history, philosophy, art."
There are things in the universe that are simply and purely evil. A warrior does not seek to understand them, or to compromise with them. He seeks only to obliterate them. -Thrawn That’s who Thrawn is. Rebels captured his calculating nature, but he is too sinister, and too loyal to the empire. Couple that with the STUPID way they finished the series and just, so unhappy with the portrayal
It’s the downside of killing the EU. He was terrified of the far outsiders and needed a strong ally. Kill that story line and he’s just cartoonily evil….err you know what I mean. And I’m sorry NO GROUP could possibly take the far outsiders place, fuck the new books,
At 20 seconds, his victory at Baton, with the immense amount of casualties. That is detailed in the Thrawn trilogy. Amazing books. ******Book Spoiler beyond this line:****** Thrawn was upset with what happened and the casualties were not his fault. He would have succeeded easily without the high casualty rate. Basically for a long time he was chasing after a brilliant opponent and treated him with respect. The high death toll was due to governor Pryce (Also in StarWars Rebel I think), awesome following her back story, modest origins and struggles and shocking to see how ruthless she had become at the end. I should re-watch Rebels... I watched it long before reading those amazing books.
Thrawn's Priorities. Rebels Destroy some Imp Ships: "Ah, a minor setback." Threatens to destroy piece of Art Collection: "You've just yee'd your last haw!"
Thrawn is up there with Darth Vader for best Star Wars villain, as well as best character. If Vader and Thrawn worked together, those rebels would be squashed instantaneously
I mean there was the book, although they become more amicable near the end of alliances. The staggering difference between them is Vader is a loyalist, where as thrawn is unorthodox and less traditional.
If anyone could have run the empire more successfully then palpatine , it would’ve been this guy have you not got team rocketed out the galaxy , had he been running the first order , Rey and her pals woulda been caught within two days tops
Thrawn is easily the greatest Star Wars villain out there, and it is a shame he had to begin his rise in the shadow of Sidious. Thrawn being promoted by the Emperor is clearly a case of keeping your enemies closer, the battle between these two would have been monumental.
Everyone is saying that they want Ankain or Obo Wan as their star wars mentor but my opinion is that Thrawn would be the best. He was smart, he had plans and explained them, he respected people even if they weren't as clever as him. He could also fight and hi didn't kill anyone for their mistakes like Vader. I fucking love Thrawn.
The only reason the rebels weren't cooked is because of plot armor. Thrawn is the smartest person in the empire. If he has run the empire he would have won most of the wars if not all of them. It was purely plot armor in Star wars rebels that they won
The portrayal of Thrawn was great! The use of him was kinda asscheeks. He kept losing and getting outmaneuvered by the main characters simply because theyre the main characters
How to use Thrawn's skills to assert dominance in comment sections throughout the RU-vid despite the context. Pick your ideals, strength, politics and just simply assert dominance. Cringe alert. (Ad hom if you can't prove me wrong) Or simply admit that I am right and simply give your two meaningless cents. 6:45 Basic rule before you start your own journey. Let them enjoy it, learn from it. And then, just use their experience for your advantage. People say that "Never argue with stupid people, because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. " This is inaccurate due to semantics. The implication to call them "stupid" is to avoid acknowledging your own capabilities to admit being wrong or 'acoustic' (socially illiterate) [those whom knows, knows] and use the said ad hom that was mentioned above. 1:16 Literally what I've been doing in the numerous youtube comment section. Destroying the majority opposition by simply provoking them to say what they have to say. Using their own very area to assert dominance. I took the game to them and they ragequit. My advice? Take the fight to them and confidently force them to use ad hominems. No matter if the video is the very source to gather up a majority to show their support. It's that same power one can use to assert your dominance. What am I talking about? Confused? Of course, silly. I did not show a single example of said dominance. Your confusion is based on what you can observe. I clearly told you how I did it and how it is done. 3:40 To assert dominance, use that very video and the majority that runs through the "great hive-mind". The source is right in front of your and their face, you can time-stamp it and destroy them. It usually leads to the above. Ad hom, block, ignoring. Let them say the stupid and easily destroy them right after. They're the ones that are responsible to elaborate if they fail to make it comprehensible or accurate. Key is to use semantics. Best tools are quoting directly (your words, not mine) and proving that they're simply wrong due to their lack of communication skills. 5:17 A "random" individual who is an alt-account that is barely 1 year old attempts to challenge you again with the same argument can be easily avoided. Provoke them to use their old or current account or happily prove them to be a sad troll attempt to ruin a thread. 7:43 If you see a simp trying to prove you right. Don't. You are yourself the very sufficient enough to assert dominance. Remember, it's the majority you are there to destroy. You don't need a single simp to prove your argument, because it's the majority that will prove you right by not being able to challenge the said argument. That, is how you assert dominance. Let the simps destroy themselves. (8:13 you just can't nor should you rely on their incapability to prove your premise. Because the chance of them being an equal to the hive-mind lemming mind-set is very high.) 9:28 The power of quoting a comment, using their words against them. Use semantics and acknowledge that language is to communicate, not obfuscate. That alone is a very useful tool to prove people wrong in the times of 'not being a lemming'. (Give an individual at least 1 week to reply, if he doesn't -- he has officially forfeit his argument) They either ignore you despite being quoted. They might use ad homs. They might rarely use that majority to assert dominance without acknowledging semantics. Hence the premise in here. Just because they can't understand it doesn't mean you're wrong. That is why you need to use language to communicate to assert dominance and leave no room for backdoors. Protip and a very necessary advice -- this very platform might very likely shadowban you very comment due to being semantically accurate or using a 'nay nay' -words. So if someone doesn't reply to you, the chances are that the platform didn't want you to have a chance. That is all.
