Aaron Rodgers accuracy is outrageous. On that pass to Jordy Nelson there was no other spot he could have gotten it. And it was so fast that the defender never even saw it. His coverage was so tight he was sure it wasn’t going to Nelson.
Shabazz Rodgers is an absolute master at realizing when the defender isn't looking at him to throw it to the covered guy like a bullet. The 2016 TDs to Davante Adams against the Eagles and to Richard Rodgers against Dallas. Both went right over the shoulders of the defender, but they never even saw it. Same for the TD to Adams against Dallas this year to put the Packers up with 11 seconds to play. Defender wasn't looking at Rodgers, Rodgers puts the ball precisely where it needs to be for Adams to make a play. Honestly, Rodgers isn't human.
Jackson Basquin not sure we’re watching the same game, you didn’t see Brady make that game sealing interception on the goal line to win super bowl mvp? Or what about him single handed lay holding the rams to three points in his sixth title?
At 1:22 is honestly the best pass I've ever seen. Eli doesn't always play the best, but you can't deny that that is one of the most accurate throws ever. It was right where it needed to be
@@Jacobean010 Are you kidding me? He never shows up in the playoffs. He never shows up when money is on the line. Thats why he only has one SB ring, which was won 9 years ago. For example, In the 2016 NFC Championship game, his defense gives up 31 points in the first 3 quarters. Ok so if Rodgers was truly the GOAT, he'd carry his offense right? No absolutely not. They got shutout 31-0 in the first 3 quarters. The defense played shit, but Rodgers didnt even come close to winning. He didnt show up at all. He didnt give his team momentum or a reason to be fighting back. He lost the game in the first 3 quarters. People say he always has a bad defense, which is true, but what does that have to do with his offense? He doesnt have that gene to show up when his team needs him the most. He is very self centered and only cares about stats. He isnt a leader in the huddle or on the sideline. His teammates have even said so. Every year its a disappointment because as you know, Rodgers fails to show up in crucial playoff games. Ill agree with you that he has the best arm of all time. But support or front office doesnt make him show up. Thats all him. He should be making better decisions and actually be a leader instead of a guy who is only there to stat pad. Rodgers is a phenomenal QB but it kills me to see how he is unable to win crucial games and you know that is true. Im sorry to tell you that.
Justin He hmm but I mean I remember the game before that if it wasn’t for his crazy ability he did make a crazy throw to make the game winning field goal. Or how bout when they played Seahawks in the nfc championship game when he was hobbling on one leg leading his team only for the defense to blow it in overtime. It’s always his team that blows it for him. In the end it’s always the defense and special teams that fucks it up for him. For example the divisional round of 2012 playoffs against 49ers when they muffed a punt turned around the game. And they put up like 35 points that game so don’t give me ur bs.
When you add the Super Bowl level stakes behind the throw, Eli to Manningham will always be one of the most cold blooded accurate throws in NFL history
Rodgers throw at 2:20 against Chicago is just disgusting. We have never seen anything like that and might not ever again.Inside and outside the pocket. Filthy
It depends tbh. Some passes were so great, a very average receiver could catch the ball. In the other hands, some passes are average, but very skilled receivers were so great, it made the QB look good.
Ben88 prime example is eli to manningham (great throw u gotta catch) however Eli to Obj (throw was a normal but obj falling back reaching for it, thats just an amazing catch)
What even does that mean? They are "nothing" without the WRs making the catches in the same way WRs are "nothing" in making great catches without the QBs putting the ball in a perfect spot. You're just saying words.
and his turnover stats are by far the best. He's such an amazing QB.... still though. Those playoff chokes take a lot away... If you don't execute in the biggest moments, who gives a fuck
I wouldn't say he is the most mechanically skilled. Only because his throws are so effortless. He doesn't even need to go through the full motion of the arm or step into his passes. He is just incredibly gifted, almost god-like with his passes
(pats fan) Best throw I've ever seen is Aaron Rogers touchdown against Cardinals. Miraculous escape and running on his left side? We will never witness someone as gifted as this guy!
@@thunder-vh5od I agree Patrick Mahomes is insanely talented and if he can avoid the turnovers he could be just as good if not better than Aaron rodgers but he'd really have to pull off some amazing stuff to match what rodgers has done
Nope, best Rogers pass was 4 & FORGET-ABOUT-IT to set up winning field goal against my Cowboys in the 2016 playoffs. Being chased sideways out of bounds, Rogers threw a friggin dime to the sideline were only his guy could catch it going out of bounds.
I thought of this throw immediately before starting the video. I remember watching it when it happened and thinking "Somebody else had to be open with all those guys covering Celek but damn that was sick." It was also a semi garbage time td which makes it a little less impressive in my book.
I remember watching that game and wondering how on earth that ball went through 4 bears defenders for a very comfortable catch for Celek to trot into the end zone.
4:28 respect for putting this clip in there. This is hands down one of my all time favorite Aaron Rodgers throws and super underrated. You can't even be half a degree of accuracy off for that ball to get there. Amazing
Brady's highlights : Open pocket, step into throw hit a wide open reciever 40 yards Rodgers : Running, getting tackled, throwing across body hitting a paper-plate size target 40 yards Have all the rings you want, he is NOT as talented as Rodgers
Exactly plus most of tom Brady’s weren’t hit with the Wrs strides you can see the Wrs show down and some weren’t high enough but tom bradys still good but not only are Aaron Rodgers throws better but most the other qbs were better
@@buddygass3728 he is the goat of accomplishments but a lot of those are won by his team including him. Aaron is definitely the better qb. Less interceptions, fastest to tds and yards milestones than him, way better average qbr, has really never has a solid/complete team around when most years brady has, and aaron can actually run the ball lol. Brady is like the LeBron of the NFL. Needs a super team around him to win. Aaron has literally brought his team to the playoffs by himself some seasons
Superbowl rings do not in anyway measure how decent a quarterback is. The ring is a complete team effort from coaching and every single player on that team. Most stats of a quarterback are because of what the quarterback can do. Even though I think someone like Tom Brady is a great quarterback his rings are honestly just a side piece of his career. Put it this way, Tom Brady isn't blocking for Tom Brady, Tom Brady isn't running all the plays, Tom Brady isn't running anything on defense.
they are missing the throw manning made in 2011 superbowl; I'm referring to the sideline throw he made to manningham on their game winning drive. He had to throw that absolutely perfectly.
Plus it travels 50 yards (yes, I did the math) and comes to the best (and only) place for Manningham to catch it. Just incredible. Plus, it is to start a SB game winning drive.
@@el34glo59 look at the placement. Perfectly in stride, back shoulder, down the sideline, and double covered with 2 defenders both less than a yard away. There was the tee tiniest window for the ball to be complete and he hit it perfectly. I can’t think of a throw that beats it
D Mobile It technically didn't count because of a holding penalty but still no doubt it was an amazing play. It is a rare talent to be able to throw as good as Aaron Rodgers can from literally anywhere. Running right, running left, standing straight in the pocket, falling down. Rodgers is insane.
I thought 1:51 was more impressive. Like literally he throws while falling forward, using nothing but pure arm strength. And look at the spiral and accuracy too. Just amazing. Best throw for sure.
Jesus Christ But the Rodgers one he was falling backwards while getting his legs taken out using pure arm strength. Also was a much smaller window to fit throw into
THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID. HE IS AMONG THE TOP 20. AND THERE ARE PROBABLY 20 MORE THAT WERE BETTER. BELOW THE TOP 10 LEAVES MORE ROOM FOR DEBATE. BUT HE IS DEFINITLLY NOT AMONG THE TOP 15. GUYS LIKE BRADY, MONTANA, ELWAY, AIKMAN, AND STAUBACH ACCOMPLISHED MUCH MORE. EVEN FELLOW GREENBAY QB BART STARR WAS BETTER. 2 SUPERBOWL RINGS FOR STARR AND A FEW CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR HIM BEFORE THERE WERE SUPER BOWLS. PUTTING ANY QB AMONG THE TOP 20 IS A PRETTY GOOD ACHEIVMENT. BUT THE TOP 10 IS SILLY. THATS AN INSULT TO GUYS LIKE TERRY BRADSHAW WITH 4 SUPER BOWL RINGS. @@albieoval1657
randomnameee and this is how I know u just listen to what others say and don't watch football. Accuracy isn't a record. Rodgers is famous for literally throwing 50 yards into a small hoop. In accuracy, Rodgers takes Brady.
Andrew Luck? Matthew Staford? Let me say yes I am a packers fan, but what separates Rodgers and the rest in the fact the he is highly accurate, and can move around very well even under pressure. If you look at the Packers line-up from the 2000's I don't know if Favre or Rodgers even have a hall of fame wide receiver. Rodgers for a while was doing great with random wide receivers on the team that never lasted long in the league.
@@davidlow7832 listen I agree with tom being the goat but you have to consider aaron has the lowest int ratio and no receiving core but he still threw for 4,000 yards and 26 tds
@@owen.8282 yeah with running around and making throwaways. That's how he is. I'd rather have jameis winston than him. Most int, but most TD pass and put a lot more in yds pass the past season.
@@tatakanmangkokayam7783 he didnt have the most tds and and aaron rodgers is very consistent and throws no ints jameis has had one good year and only way he got yards and tds was by throwing careless passes while aaron rodgers moved around and threw very accurate and smart passes. And your very dumb for even comparing aaron and jameis
@@tedbarrett8497 because they were simply difficult throws to make, especially completing passes in double coverage, can't win super bowls if you can't throw elite
Vylare dude that’s regular passes all nfl qb then thread the needle so stop that I’ve been watching football since 1979. They put what passes they want up. You can put up 16 warren moon passes that great
Vick had an arm too. I've watched every Rodgers game and he does this all the time, we're spoiled as Packers fans in Wisconsin. The fact that he's that accurate while getting pushed and tugged is incredible. To know where a ball should be put with defenders blocking the receiver is insane, like physics or something.
He's had a lot better throws than the ones they showed here. This was really biased towards Rodgers. Look up Brandon Lafell TD pass 2014 AFC divisional game, I think that's one of the greatest passes ever.
Aaron Rodgers has a gifted ability to move around the defense in the pocket and still throw passes accurately. The thing that separates Rodgers from most QB's is the insane accuracy an lack of interceptions all while having ok to decent wide receivers. Brett Favre was amazing but then again I can't remember a hall of fame wide receiver they had on Green Bay.
Elder Scrolls Explorer I dont think Aaron Rodgers can come back from 28 to 3 like Tom Brady did so no Tom Brady is the best, and I think he is the best of all time. Aaron Rodgers doesnt have 5 rings now does he?
watching this video tells me two different things 1. my cowboys have always struggled a little bit on defense but i sadly never see them do anything about it and 2. aaron rodgers is a real life cheat code and my mind can’t be changed
Phillyfan 25 I remember that game. It was a blowout against the Redskins on either Monday or Sunday night. Also chip "the devil" Kelly's first game as a head coach.
I'm an Eagle fan too, and I think that other Vick pass in this video against the Bears was more impressive. I've never seen a completed pass through a tighter window. Also, McNabb should have been on this video on here at least once. He was at times inconsistent, but there were times he made remarkable throws. I remember a couple from '08-'09 in particular.
The Rodgers to Rodgers hail mary, which is not included, is probably the greatest pass of all time. ~70 yards in the air, the highest ball I've ever seen thrown by a long shot and a game winning touchdown.
Not even the best hail mary Rodgers has thrown. His hail mary to Jeff Janis in the playoffs against the Cardinals was inhuman. He made a throw from the same distance while falling to his left with pressure in his face.
@@logandodge7221 The Janis throw was 10 yards shorter and didn't nearly have the same height as the rodgers hail mary. Some nerd did the math on it and if the trajectory was slightly lower it would have been an 82 yard pass and out the back of the end zone.
@@Mark-ru7kc I saw crowd video of that throw. Somebody in the stadium using a phone. When Rodgers let that pass go the whole of Ford Field went “whoa!” Aaron Rodgers actually has the Hail Mary as just another tool. The dude manages to complete them. Doesn’t matter how deep or what the rush does.
It's like Montana and Marino. Everyone knew Marino was better because of his stats, but Montana was in a better team and won championships. However, Tommy has both, so u can't argue with that!
I’ll never forget the throw Andrew Luck made to TY Hilton vs the Chiefs in that 2014 Wild Card game couple of years ago to take the lead and win 45-44. That throw was so perfect…
Rebas Kradd bitch plz Russel Wilson could never make this list lmao. He’s no where near Aaron Rodgers skill level. All Russel can do is throw a perfect pass to Malcomb butler on the 1 yard line. Get out of here salty ass sea hawk fan. Your such a bandwagon
@@jameslol7589 but rebas kradd is saying russell wilson should be in the video and he making the assumption the video maker is a packers fan even though russell wilson is a runner. but to be fair max reis was way to salty
I'm a long time Pat's fan and if you don't respect Rodgers, your a joke! He has a better arm, accuracy, scramble than Tom. Tom is better at reading defense, better under pressure, but his biggest skill is to get the ball to the mismatch. He will hand it off rather than trying to force it in and risk a turnover. Most other Q.B's ego gets in the way, not Brady. Brady has the better smarts and heart than any player period.
@Tripleblade 82 I agree. We are very lucky with these Boston teams, especially the Pat's. I used to see them when they would have 2 or 3 wins a season. These milineals are SPOILED. We had to put up with years of abuse
William Leitschuh Aaron is one of the best of all time but he isn’t good at decision making, being clutch, reading defenses, or leading a team. He doesn’t show up in crucial games and his ego ruins the success of the team. One of the greatest but if he was the best he would have more than 1 ring with the talent he had for the last 15 years. Always had top O-line, always had top receiving core and good defenses for most of those years. He is probably the most talented with his arm strength, accuracy plus his throw on the run ability but not the goat.
AH NO. VERY MUCH A NEED. ROPHLESBURGER IS BETTER THAN ROGERS. STABLER WAS BETTER. AT LEAST 20 OTHER QBS INCLUDING BAUGH WAS BETTER. KEEP LIVING IN FANTASY LAND
@@drkInxgud Rodgers is more intelligent than Brady and Manning per their Wonderlic test scores. It's weird how people say MANY QBs have a great arm, jeff George and jamarcus russell, but you need a high football IQ to last long in the NFL. How has Rodgers gone 10+ years in the NFL if he doesn't have a good football IQ?
bc his career win % is only .652. His W/L record in the play is 9/7, which isnt bad, but its not good either. also injury prone, as he suffered 7 major injuries since 2006. Yes, he IS clutch, but that doesnt carry him that far. And finally, one ring.
I get goosebumps watching clips of Aaron Rodgers make plays. Brings back the magic of watching football as a kid and knowing we were going to win almost every week
Because though they looked great, and are incredibly hard to throw, the passes themselves aren't that nice. He's not throwing the Hail Marys into a small window like the passes shown here, he's just heaving them up and the receiver is making the play.
I will agree that his hail marys are not the most "impressive" throws. However, his throw against the Cardinals in the divisional round matchup was incredible. Feet were not set, pressure in his face and off his bad shoulder and still threw it what 40-50 yards?
As a Fin my game is ice hockey. Resently I got hooked to watch NFL quarterbacks and be amazed about those throws. But now..... I understands the game some more and oh boy those catches. - You have to run your ass off - Avoid the defense - Get over pushes, tackles, ect - Find the tiny tiny window where the ball WILL BE IN NEXT 100 ms. - Turn, see, react and be ready to catch the ball within that 100 ms. - AND possibly continue to run your ass off perhaps way over half of the field. Now that is something!
It's funny... Tom Brady's highlights look SO easy, even when we know they are not. He reminds me so much of Larry Bird, as when people say, unathletic, slow etc. But that's when you know a player is good, when he can shine and still look matter of fact. Have to say, it does not take anything away from Rodgers, Vick and all of these wonderful QB's that can do so much , sometimes, without the proper protection. Vick and Rodgers really impressed me on this video.
