This type of video is super helpful for deciding what tanks to grind for next. I'd love to see similar videos for the heavy tanks, tank destroyers, and light tanks!
24:08 shooting down is harder also because the shells fly in an arc, meaning they land at an even larger angle than you shoot from. This is also why hitting cupola/roof happens so often at large distance.
Same, thought even STB-1 would have a chance. Looking at the list seems like usable armor is a difference maker? If mediums just trade one for one or have no sniping oportunities they don t do well...

I don't like the beginning scentence of saying this is for new or returning players because for them you actually want easy tanks to play and not ones that have a higher skill cap like the udes.
I got my Udes fairly early into my WOT journey (around 3k battles) and it helped me learn about the game a lot. Now I love the Udes because of its awesome gun depression when others cannot even hit you on a ridge (they lack depression).
@@home541_ I wouldnt say that turret is narrow it is easy to show hull, depression without suspension is only 6 degree which makes you depend on the slow suspension, ammunition is slow with relativ low pen, heat as premium, gun is sluggish, gun is mounted on the back which adds complexity...should I go on?
@@adrianoawz2676 Suspension is quite fast, shell time is easy to deal with, rear mount makes side scrape peaks quicker, heat as a premium is manageable if you know how to aim, “slow” gun on a tank with a tiny profile and great camo for a medium. I stopped playing for 9 years, came back, played 1000 games, none of which were in a tier 10 medium. Free xpd the 15/16. Managed 2500 dpg over 50 games.
There's one problem with udes (which applies slightly to E50M too) - it has higher WR because people who decide to play it, are able to adapt to it's playstyle and know what they are doing - average player will struggle with rear mounted turret, suspension mechanics and positioning. In case of E50M - they'll have problem with making good decisions when, where and how to peek (and where to go ig, but that's common for many more tanks).
Thought for sure leo would be on here, but since its done by the winrate difference there's probably some potential bias. Leo has been out for a very long time compared to like CS-63 for example, and it's probably likely that CS is played more by better players than tanks like Leo, which is owned by good and bad players alike.

I am grinding 121 line but OMFG the tier 8 is so painful to play! It actually doesnt have anything - no armor (random bounces sometimes), no pen, no shell velocity, no alpha... Like it is the hardest tier 8 I have ever grinded. Love your videos!
Good information! Wargaming staff have described a large portion (the largest portion) of the game's demographic as within the 16-to-35 age bracket. This video touches on some good points, but usually only the best players play tier 10 a lot. Most of us play up to tier 8 or so, with lots of us concentrating on middle tiers.
STB and Cent AX are the best. UDES has low pen and velocity and the suspension is annoying, 121 little gun depression and burns, 430U gun is derpy and little gun depression. E50M is good but you get penned easy right through the front of turret
Bro forgot the Stb and Leo although yes they are a bit harder to play and more punishing for mistakes but u cant go wrong with the leos accuracy or the stb dpm. The tech tree grinds are harder too Still great video my guy
Only have the 15/16 and 430U... Of the 2, I Prefer the 15/16... Better Mobility and the Kranvagn's Gun in Single Shot Form with a Sliver of Visibilty when Peaking.... I don't have, and haven't even Tried them as Yet on the Test Server, the other 3... MAYBE Years Past, like the 1st or 2nd Test Server I ever played on, I might have tried the E50... But I don't recall.... On the Panther right now, but finding it Hard to Complete the Grind with the Teams being what they are.... Panther II is Unlocked thanks to WG's Blueprint BS, but I still need 2K to get the Top Gun on the Panther to Buy it... I'm also the Weirdo that likes his T62A more than his 140, and when I First Played them I NEVER thought I'd be Saying that.... I also like my Cent AX and Prog65 alot, but I have Yet to Play my Leopard I outside of the Test Server, as much as I thought I Liked the Tank in the Olde Skool Days, the "Buffs" and I aren't Gelling.... Outside of Clan or Competetive Events, I have my M60 which I do Like Alot, the T-22 which is a Fun Ball Buster when yyou get the Right Game for it, and the Lion which is Fun, but that 4th Shell will throw Many Off...
430 U is my favorite tank. I destroy everyone and everything. With 430 u you got mobility Pen and armor. You simply destroy new tanks coming at you . Is just so much funn
My STB winrate is 58% avg damage around 3100, udes 57% damage 3170. I feel two tank plays really similar. I wanna 3 mark one, having hard time to choose, can you choose one for me? My concerning on udes is 300 heat pen is not good when try to pen some thicc armor and back turret always not good when hull down. STB only concerning, weak turret when close hull down.

Leopard 1 must to have, but have a problem to grind. On tier 7-8 VK.30.2 & Indien PZ is not good tank (my personal opinion) & have to grind much. On leopard PTA is fine but not good as leopard 1
K91 is awkward but the high velocity gun and DPM and workable armour can be godlike. Gun depression ironically will just give you depression. Great camo though, nearly on par with the UDES. It's worth continuing king.
Your argument in the beginning that medium have a bad win ratio difference does not really hold up. All types have negative diff WR in tier X. And mediums do better then lights and heavy tanks in this regard. In fact mediums is hitting the the exact same average -1.71% as you get when you look att all types in tier X.
There are better tanks at tier 8 than there are at 9 and 10 based on marks of excelence. 9 and 10 are mostly overrated because they are closer to the notion of an end game
Really hate the Udes, the gun is horrible. So far I think my favourite is the M48 or the STB though oddly enough my best record so far is in the K-91 which I expected to be crap, hated the whole line.
For me it's the exact opposite. I bought the M48 a long time ago and tried really hard to make it work, but it just won't work. It's a slow ass tank even with a turbo. It's suppose to have armor, but my enemy don't seem to agree. And I get a damaged ammo racked so F#! often when I play it. I gave up on the tank. The udes on the other hand I only got like 1.5 year ago and I love it. just sit hull down on a slope and have a party. Also the fact that is has 440 alpha and can slap pretty hard compared to other meds. I love the STB as well. Turret is much less reliable then the udes tho and gun can really troll you. Or maybe it's because with udes I can take time to aim longer due to more reliable turret compared to STB.
@@really7187 Hardly ever get ammo racked in the M48, certainly no more than most tanks and a lot less than some. Armour is OK but I don't rely on it, turret is quite bouncy if you play it right, but I mostly play tanks with no armour anyway so it's not much of an issue for me. Having a good gun on a tank with no armour is the best armour because you don't have to over expose yourself and the M48's gun is nuts, has to be one of, if not the best handling gun in the game. No use in having 440 alpha if you can't hit your shots and the Udes gun is very unreliable.
just to clearify we are talking about less that one game in 100 that you could statisticly win more with those tanks...I don't know that you can talk from "much higher" here, using this statistic in this context is not very meaningful. I don't even think this statistic says much at all. I think the only take away here is that generally player perform worse on tier 10 than on average
