Fasted cardio or a couple hiit workouts for 12-16 weeks definitely does the job. I noticed how much I’ve been toning up using that routine before lifting. Fasted cardio at 6am the. Back to the gym to lift around 10-11am

I’ve done the same HIIT for 20mins and then treadmill incline at 12 for 30mins all fasted at 5am. Then return in the evenings for weight training, and then another 30mins of treadmill or cycle. I’ve dropped a total of 6% BF and gained 9 lbs of muscle as of today. Definitely works 👌🏽

Jumping Rope is great for Cardio. You lose fat, and keep your muscles. High Intensity Cardio is the key. Sprinting is good too.

Glycogen levels in the muscles remain very high in the morning because we do not have much movement during the night. Liver glycogen is depleted 60 to 80%

I’ve never been a body builder and I have no plans on ever becoming one but I love watching the videos of weight training/ workout gurus like Mr glass to learn about new lifts, proper technique, ways to improve your routines and so on… For my fitness goals and for my schedule I like to gift early in the morning 4am till about 515-530… then I go home eat breakfast… and go about my day… I do this 4-5 days a week… then 5-6 days a week I do cardio in the evening… I keep cardio simple… 4-5 days a week it’s just walking for 30min to 1 hour… then 1 day sometimes 2 (if I’m feeling up to it lol) I do a HIT cardio day to really get my heart rate up… where i hit my heavy bag, do KB swings, battle ropes, and fan bike sprints… Doing this has allowed me to lose weight while maintaining muscle and building my cardio up… and just as important as I’m getting older it doesn’t take a huge tole on my joints and risk of injury is super low

So I play basketball every day and every chance I get. I just love the game. However I never really get any mass from resistance training. I guess once I stop playing and focus on bodybuilding I’ll gain. Oh well. My heart is strong

Why make things harder or more complicated than it should! Pick your idea show. Know where you are in regards to your body fat percentage and how long based off your training and lifestyle how long it will take to get down to 5% or lower. Give yourself extra time for unexpected events that could knock you off your daily routine and definitely extra time to get for those days when you’re starving for a cheat meal that can add 5 pounds of water. Like I mentioned keep it real and simple

Listen to a lot of your nuances and ive noticed much better pumps especially biceps. I’ve alwaysssss had a hard time keeping the mind muscle connection in biceps and you’ve helped so much. Keep up ya great advice!

Yes. Indeed it is. Look at sprinters vs marathon runners. Who's got more muscle?.. with sprinting, you activate fast twitch muscle fibers to promote growth, at the same time your heart rate skyrockets, burning more cals. It all depends on the goals you want. In your case, it's sprinting.

Yes, you need fasted cardio in the morning and probably another 30-45 after weight training. You also need to eat healthy

Definitely. Should always do cardio evens if you’re bulking. Just do high intensity cardio like sprints, rowing, jump rope aka skipping. Cardio makes your heart stronger which means more blood to your muscles, so it’s good for your muscles too.

@@Tbcz That’s not necessarily true about creatine. It’s been one of the most studied supplements and is proven to aid in training. There aren’t many pro athletes that DON’T use creatine. Also, it’s cheap as hell and you can add to anything. You just have to add it to your daily diet for a month for it to start kicking in…that’s where some folk go wrong…along with overloading. Overloading is not needed as previously thought. Yes you can get creatine from beef and other food sources, but you don’t always eat those foods every day.

Gotta give the man credit, but that cardio windows stuff is like..dunno how old and doesn't even make sense. People might argue that "In a fasted state the body will go straight for the bodyfat and not the food you have taken in!" But if you ate before cardio and your body then used those nutrients to fuel that cardio the body would then use its bodyfat for the other activies after the cardio....It evens out and has been shown in studies that it does not matter.

Actual there is! Early in the morning or after you fast (intermittent) before you eat is the best time. No food in your belly so your body burns fat. If you eat than do cardio your body burns the food before it burns fat.

@@Fitnessaddict1 He is right you can’t lose body fat by targeting a body part where you lose fat is strictly genetics. Some lose it in ther face and neck before they lose it elsewhere. You can shrink fat cells already present by limiting fat and carb intake but on a while your body loses body fat according to your genetic dispotion.

Fasted cardio in the morning, 30-45 minutes cardio. Skipping, swimming, sprints or rowing machine. Intermittent fasting is good too. Eat between a set 6-8 hour window. Eat healthy of course. 50% veg on your plate, 30% protein and 20% carbs. Try to cur out sugar snd the weight will fly off even quicker. No sweeteners, honey nothing. If you need sugar then natural sugars like Algarve sugar or Date sugar. Otherwise all sugar from fruits! No juices or fizzy drinks. Drink straight water.
