When is it the best time to surf Wategos Beach Byron Bays Most Easterly point in Australia?
Watego's can break all year round if the sand and swell is right.
However, the summertime has the best swells that come out of the north and east to help this famous point break come to life.
Southeast winds are offshore and usually better at low tide depending on the sand formation.
It can get quite busy at times with everyone from kids to grandmas out to catch a wave.
