Best Timeframes: Step by Step Guide [NOTES] 1. Advice: remove unnecessary timeframes. 2. Use: M, W, D, 4H. 3. Go on the monthly timeframe and find the bias: is the month going up? What's it aiming for? Previous month's high or low? Because we are bullish, the high on the monthly timeframe could be taken first. 4. Now just wait for the W, D, and 4H to agree with the M. 5. These lower timeframes are not agreeing? Stay out of the markets. 6. On the monthly: is there a monthly FVG price could reach to go to the DOL (monthly high)? 7. Go on the weekly and try to see if there are FVG that can be used as support (discount array). 8. If on the weekly there is no FVG, go on the daily. 9. On the daily, we can see price is respecting discount arrays. 10. If there is untapped daily FVG, use it; otherwise, go to the 4H. 11. You have the bias and the narrative. Now we need the context! 12. Context needs to be formed at the same time as the narrative. 13. Daily just coming from a discount FVG and taking the previous day's high. 14. After the daily context is established, we can go on the 4H or wait for the daily context. 15. Will we then use the 4H or the new daily context? You have to see if there can be a big retracement from previous left side premium arrays. 16. In this case, we didn't have anything on the left that could retrace the price deep down. So we can use the 4H. 17. Remember: high timeframe FVG has a bigger magnetic force than low timeframe. 18. After you find the context you need an entry. 19. Entry timeframe depends on the context timeframe. 20. For example, from the daily FVG, you need 1 confirmation on the 1H (FVG coming in the daily FVG and FVG coming out of the daily FVG), and 2 confirmations on the 15 minutes. 21. 15 minutes entry on the daily FVG: sharp turn + another leg respecting the FVG out during the sharp turn. 22. Another example: 1H FVG context, you need either 1 confirmation on the 5 minute or two legs (sharp turn + respecting the new FVG out) on the 1 minute. 23. Another example: 15 minute FVG, you can enter on the first 5 minute FVG or on the 1 minute sharp turn. 24. Remember: on the 1 minute you might have different losses. 25. If you use the daily context (from daily FVG to the daily high) and 15 minute as entry, you want to use the 15 minute, 1H and 4H to go breakeven. For example, if we have a 1H FVG just below our entry, price might go to our entry and take us out. If the 1H FVG is actually a breakaway gap, then you can go breakeven because the price would take your DOL first before coming to the breakaway gap. You need to find a reason for the price to not come to your entry before going breakeven. Personal note: Learned that from 15 minute FVG it's better to scalp on the 5 minute. I think from 15 minute we could go to 3 minute to have a confirmation entry without getting faked out on the 1 minute. Need to backtest it. But stick to the 5 minute entry and you are good to go.

Every video contains added value.. now just from the free videos everyone can develop a profitable trading system.. the funny thing that i was struggling with the sharp entry model.. everything is clear apart from the SL.. cause i target 1:2 say on daily FVG i have a 1hr FVG in and then an immediate FVG out... the FVG out could be really high in terms of being close to the targeted PD array... so in my trading i started to use 15m FVG followed by another 15m FVG so my SL can fit the 1:2 model.. this video just confirmed what i think it is logical ... thank u Arjo!!!

Moral: Once a higher time-frame FVG is created, go to a lower time-frame of 'sharp turn' and seek the OF then go to lowest time-frame of 'confirmation' for entry. Stop loss and TP are on higher time-frames, but also on lower time-frame. It depends on your understanding of the market.
