Best Times Of The Day To Ride The Alton Towers Roller Coasters
Alton Towers is the Uk’s largest theme park, its crucial to plan before you visit to get the most out of your day and to make sure you get on as many rides as possible.
In general it is possible to predict the queues for the roller coasters throughout the day, with this information you can come up with a strategy or plan of attack to ensure you spend the least amount of time in queue lines, or enter a queue line for a roller coaster when it’s at its shortest possible length of the day.
There are three factors which affect the queue length;
1. Popularity - how many people want to go on the roller coaster?
2. Capacity - how many people can the roller coaster process?
3. Location - when do people get to the roller coaster based on its geographic location within the park?
Its also worth noting that the park is huge and it could drain your available time to zigzag form one section of the park to the other, it may be more time effective to join the queue for the rides that are located next to each other, to save walking back later in the day and avoid missing out.
By downloading the official Alton Towers app, you will get a virtual map of the park to help find your way around, it will also display the live queue times, and if there are any temporary closures, to help you make an informed decision of which ride to do next.
