Hello JJ, I am debating between buying TRX or resistance bands with anchor. Do you have any advice. I am 62 and looking to build muscle, strengthen core and improve flexibility. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Start light (or just your body weight) and go through the same motions. The last two reps should be a struggle, but you should be able to get through them. If the last two reps become easier, then add a little more weight.
