Wild games are hard to beat, I’ve tried muddy pros, stealth cams, moultries and a few other brands and they are all subpar compared to wild games. I couldn’t agree more. I might have to try some Akasos. Seem like a good camera for the money, the dual feature video/still shot is pretty sweet. I don’t own any that do that. I haven’t tried the spy points but my buddy across the road uses them and he said cell cameras are a game changer but the pictures are crap. If I had the money to blow on cell cameras I think I’d run some cuddelinks
hello sir, I have a gamecam that has the TL DELAY option, and (TL START AND TL STOP) the TL START And TL STOP has a 24 hr set up that doesn’t make sense. I was going to set mine to 12:00am to 11:59pm? Is that the right thing to do?
Some of these cams are "wireless". Does that mean I need to contract with a carrier like Verizon in order to use them? Is the service expensive? Do you recommend any of the spike-type mounts on Amazon?
The camera will normally already be set up with a network, such as Verizon. They offer different plans at different price points. They also offer a free plan, but you get a limited amount of photos per month.
I have two wildgame cameras that won't work with any cards??? Thier cutomer service sucks and I can't figure out why they won't work?? Tried all differnt brands of sd cards too?
I've had a Tasco from Walmart for about 3 years now. It consistently outperforms any other camera I try for under $50. If you hunt public land or you're hunting on a budget, Tasco is the way to go!
Hi. Are you able to view the camera footage from the app when within the bluetooth or wifi range of the trail camera when it is switched to the ON position? Mine can't detect the camera wifi when I hit the wifi button when ON.
Mine just says “video” so I’m not sure if it’ll also take a picture on the same setting. I haven’t tried the video setting on that camera, but I will try it and let you know!
@@NWIWhitetails I’ll have to check them out! Looking at possibly trying out some different cell cams. We’ve had SPYPOINT forever, but might try out some tactacams. Thoughts?
You really need to put a shout out on here for the Tactacam Reveal Cell cameras(I Understand this is about under $50.00 but these things are crazy good for the money)-$100.00 at Walmart and perform as well as my Covert Blackhawk LTE which are pushing $400.00 each! I got a dozen of each out and the Tactacam's are impressive for the $$$$! I'm interested in your go pro option, send me a link please! Ever Interested in doing a podcast together on cameras/food plot seed, anything hunting/archery, I'm looking to hook up with a few fellow RU-vidrs to work with, ran a very succsesful archery shop for 13 years and love talking about my passion!
Hey man, sorry for the delayed response, I never got a notification about your comment. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the tactacams. I’m looking to try some out this season. I’ll send you the link for the akaso action cam on Instagram.
Wild game camera is my least favorite camera. The battery replacement with the camera on the tree sucks. Batteries fall to the ground. Pretty much have to take the camera off the tree to change batteries. Pictures were fine but to much hassle to change batteries, so I got rid of mine.
They’re definitely not the easiest batteries change, but I’ve always been able to manage. I just use one hand to hold pressure on the batteries as I load them in. But I also normally attach to the tree with the bungee that came with the camera. The bungee makes it quick and easy to rotate the camera when replacing batteries.
I think I’ll sell my muddy, moultrie and stealth cams, worst photos out of all the cameras I own. The straps on those cameras are terrible too. I would rock bungees anyday of the week
i had the akaso and detection range and flash range were horrible, sent it right back to amazon. there are much better china no name cameras out there for the same or less money. i consider the akaso the bottom of the barrel of the cheap china cams i have tested.
That’s surprising. I’ve had great experiences with the trail camera I tested and the action camera. But I will say quality control in general with the cheaper brands is all over the place. You can order two identical cameras and have two different experiences.
Prices are constantly changing on Amazon. If you noticed this video was uploaded 6 months ago. We’re now in the middle of hunting season, prices will be higher. Almost all of those cameras are sold out now, so those new prices are from secondary sellers.
Yea man, being hunting season, most of these cameras are sold out or have raised the prices. I’ve been trying to add new links, but a lot of the cameras are just sold out. I did just add 1 more wildgame innovations link, but it’s not under $50. I also added a Tasco link. When you follow the link go to “see all buying options”. You should find it under $50.
