DM is my favorite trail in Duluth. It's not long but it's fast and technical and has moves that make you feel like a hero. There is a rock roll-in in the middle that feels like a mini version of the roll-in on Detroit Rock City in Whistler.

Hoping the weather warms up and i get one more day in Duluth to ride Piedmont. I'm just about done recording for the year but it would be nice to get another day in Duluth.

Yeah, I’m hoping to get another day up there too. My plan was to do the whole traverse at some point but I don’t think it’s going to happen this year.

Really well put together presentation. There is great riding al lover Duluth its hard to pick where to ride when i visit, love those views of the lake.

Nice one! Looks like a rowdy rip! What kind of rock is on that trail? Looks kind of like limestone but maybe granite?

I’m no geologist but some who is tells me that it’s a mixture of basalt and gabbro.

@@KrisYahner | Even cooler. I rode in Minnesota for the first time a couple months ago and noticed some of those cool rock patterns you guys get up that way. I'm in Kansas City and we have sandstone and clay. So the moment it gets wet, it gets crazy slick. But in Minnesota it felt much grippier. Cool video!

Do only ride with open face helmets or do you switch back between fill face and open face depending on where you ride? If so what helmets do you use?

I’ll ride a full face if I’m riding lifts or shuttling usually but other than that just a regular MTB helmet. I have a TLD D3 full face and a TLD A2 mtb helmet.
