What are your favorite mods for the Triumph Bobber? If you want to support The Bobber Vlog you can buy me a coffee here! www.buymeacoff... Or get in touch here, direct.me/duan...
I’d bought a 17 from the dealer and the previous owner was a Triumph man his entire riding career, anyway he,d done done Corbin seat the Fox shock, the mini apes with wind screen, the cat delete which I am personally thankful for , well along with the rest but that’s big, also all the extended cables that you need for the bars, it’s a total ripper and I love the bike, I really feel I’m just along for the ride on it and it’s just off to the races, most fun I’ve had riding in a long time
Yep, when I first got my Bobber I quickly realized that it is the most fun (if not fastest) bike I have ever had. However, it now trumps😉 the "Street Triple R" I had for speed now!
I don’t think people change the seat because it is uncomfortable. It’s all about looks. I have a black leather diamond stitch see on mine and it its stunning. 🤩
Great video, as ever. One of the nicest mods I’ve made which I don’t see very often is the ‘Wunderkind CNC Milled Upper Fork Covers’. They really make the front end look meaner and chunkier (now 55 mm, rather than standard 47 mm on Bobber Black). Purely aesthetic, but oh so enjoyable
I would have a look on pictures to see where they are positioned and try placing my feet there to find out. I can not use them. If I stretch my legs out in front my knee locks up and I can't get my leg back.!
My favourite modes at the 30mm bar risers and drilling out the seat rail so it's further back. I'm 5'11 and I have hip problems because of a crash. These two mods helped a lot. Rear shock is on mu list
Ive got a n 18 bobber black withe a morelo red tank. ive put on a number of bits for looks. For comfort, ive a bad back and knees, I did forward controls, a corbin seat, i then made some supports to make it a springer seat, X-pipe, airbox delete, I made a leather wire cover. Im thinking of the mimi apes, so far i have the motone up and over risers. Id like to go to a 7in headlight. Ima also thinking of the delkevic exhaust system which would eliminate the x-pipe. Also if i have room when i upgrade the headlight id like to in-let the speed-o into the top of the bucket.
@@brownco_customs actually riding a Husqvarna TE450.. which I mainly use for the trails.. great bike just sucks on the road haha wanting to get onto something more road friendly but if I can would like to keep the husky for the odd trip up to the forest
@@brownco_customs SIR I have ridden bikes since the 1970s the 'brakes let it down " myth is just that a "myth" its not a sports bike ride it for what it is....did you ever ride one? compared to the brakes on my 765 RS Street Triple then yes they atre Inferior but compared to the brakes on my FS1E or my Matchless or B31 BSA or even the brakes on my old RD350LC they are more than adequate........have you changed the bars or rear light cluster yet? totally changes the bike
I test rode both before I bought my Bobber Black. It was the brakes that were the deciding factor. Changing the lights is on the list. I do like the bars, they work well for me.
