That's because it doesn't even matter what is the outcome of the crash test. The fact that it is a flat nose truck and not a long nose truck like American trucks, means that crashes will always cause bad injuries when hitting another truck or a wall.

@@angrysocialjusticewarrior A truck with a large engine in it's nose will not save it's driver if it hits a wall, it will provide better safety but not much better

@@r.yuksel9774 Walls are not the most dangerous thing for trucks. Almost all trucks (both the flat nose and long nose versions) can crash through walls and through houses with minimal damage. The biggest dangers are harder objects like big trees or crashing into other trucks or busses. In those situations, having a long nose truck allows the truck to have a crumple zone (the nose acts like a sponge to make the crash a bit less violent), while in a flat nose truck you will either be instantly crushed or you will be thrown out of the car. and to prove what I'm saying is correct, you can search for "truck crash compilation" right here and youtube and then take a look at how US trucks get damaged in accidents compared to how flat nose trucks get damaged.

@@angrysocialjusticewarrior Generally walls are not that dangerous for trucks but I was talking about an immovable wall, like a tree or an actual immovable wall. Busses actually won't be a problem for a semi truck as they are a lot lighter even when they are fully loaded. I know what you mean by long nose trucks having a crumple zone but these tests are made without 30 tons of cargo at the back which will crush both cabs in a heavy crash, the truck having a nose or not wouldn't matter. Also these are more engine compartments than 'crumple zones' you would see in a car, as they don't have much space with a heavy duty engine under the hood, this design is good for crash tests with no load (and they are better in terms of cabin space) but this isn't a problem for the cab-over trucks like the ones you see in the video as they are crash tested to similar standards.

the thing is my mates dad nealy died in a truck crash as the western star he was in, he crashed into a tree and the engine went through the cab
