Just took the kids and wife here after my 8year old watched your video. Highly recommended place to eat. Word of advice, go on an empty stomach! Bu-tiful food!
Wow.Now that's how you cook. What a treat .I nearly passed out from sheer happiness ,watching the meat be cooked. For £40 that is so reasonable.God bless all those hard working chefs. That deserves 5 Michelin ****🤩🤩🤩🤩
I made your Tandoori chicken last night. I didn't have the pastes you used. I used Laziza tandoori paste and Patak balti paste (1.5 tsp each) plus I added 1 tsp of tandoori mix (East end) and 1.5 TSP dried mint. I used Tesco boneless, skinless thighs. Cooked in airfryer. Restaurant standard flavour. Best I have done. 35 years home cooking BIR.
Looks absolutely delicious, I love anything cooked over a grill, especially if it comes with rice and bread. Could really do with somewhere like this in every town and city
Salam brother, love your videos mashallah. Very well spoken and articulated. Please keep on the great work. Could you please find out how they make the turkish chili sauce and do a video for us on that. May allah bless you and your family. :)
That’s sad. We are quite lucky in most areas of the UK, more densely populated and a variety of different immigrants lends to that. People scream ‘go back to your own country’ but what would they do without the food 🙄
I really enjoy your channel. Great review. Be safe for you and others as you travel more. Mom and pop restaurants always have the best food. They cook for love. The chains cook for shareholders
Superb. Takes me back. 1979😮 Ruislip Manor, half way between my digs and the tube station, the absolute best shish kebabs served into the early am. Top quality and service whatever the state you were in, maybe a complimentary whisky. A stagger to the benches at the roundabout up the hill. Dine, rubbish in the bin. Circle the hockey pitches until sober enough to re-enter my digs. Such times. But, the food in the pitta as offered was always five star. Regards Stephen.
Complimentary whisky with a kebab, crikey, just knew I lived in the wrong town... Great story btw, safe yo innit (sucks teeth) bro, guv, high fives, yo, fifty bench presses .. What's for tea?
Brilliant vid, known this place longtime in my manor 💚 gorgeous Turkish food of my mother. Please go down Green lanes Haringey can’t get better in London for Turkish food
Thanks for Sharing Latif. Another amazing looking eatery. Hope you make it down to the south west one day. We have some amazing Carribean restaurants in and around Bristol. Sadly the Indian food isn’t as good as up north / the midlands.
Really like how the channel is growing! Not the first time I've commented praising the channel either. However... Taking the direction of being a critique (over a cooking guide channel) will require some adaptation of your personality. You're too nice! There must be some constructive criticisms of the dishes sometimes! If you think there is a way to improve the dish (as a chef yourself) you should definitely comment on it!
I agree, but he certainly has the makings of a serious foodie on mainstream tv!!!! We really need a food show on tv covering this type of food! So many of us brits have a passion for latif’s cuisine, and it’s not shown enough!!! His passion for food is amazing, he has transformed my cooking abilities 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Looks very nice, but then that area of London as well as Harringay further up the road has a proliferation of similar restaurants all serving those huge mezzes.
Latif the next time your in South Kensington, London you have to try Bosphorus Kebabs. I like the large spicy sheesh with hot sauce and salad and some yogurt sauce rolled in a pita bread. This place is small but they have been there for over 50 years. Its must for me whenever I travel to the UK. Never found a place like it in the USA. Check them out online they have a website. i enjoy your recipes watched the Keema one this morning and my mouth was watering!
Try Tayyubs in Whitechapel, East London. It's an award winning restaurant and they never serve alcohol, keeping it totally halal. They serve the best mixed grill.
I dont know about this restaurant, but there are few good ones in greens lane north london. Selali, Gokyazu, Hala. and I have heard Diyar e Akbar is really really good. Best ever Baklava you can find in UK in from Antepliler also in Greens lane. And try their special double pistachio baklava. They also have a shop next door with same name where they serve freshly made kuefe with Turkish Tea. In mayfair Ishtaar and greatportland street Kibele are very nice. They are very pricey as well but food is really nice . Both of them are owned by the same person. PS: The special baklava runs out very quickly. So its worth ringing them before hand and book it over the phone to avoid disappointment
@@S4FX hi my area is Exmouth long Beach on the other side of river exe. Then Dawlish Warren and main campsites then Dawlish to Warren side beach open other closed working on sea wall. Then onto Teignmouth then Torquay then Paignton. Please have a look at goggle map satellite to see and check on breaches. Hope this will help you 😄
I grew up in Devon, live in London now. Whenever I go back home I wonder how I used to live, don’t think I could do it again 😂 wouldn’t survive when I’m used to 100s of surrounding restaurants, 24h/7 shops, superstores, gyms.. lol. Also I would really miss the diversity of people, I really notice how old and white Devon is now.
Hi Latif - great video as alway, did they run through the marinades they use for the lamb/chicken shish? I find it hard to replicate the taste at home (even when grilling on a barbecue)
