Hey I'm one of the developers behind one of the games you previewed - Galacticare. Just wanted to say thanks for including us and the kind words! We're super excited to release the game soon. :D
One title I had expected was Mad Games Tycoon 2 which is fully released recently. Also one missing is another automation tycoon game like potion tycoon where you setup production lines for potions and then sell them to the customers and it is called Magical Mixture Mill. Not sure if Let's School would be called a tycoon game, but it is as close as some of the other titles on the list to the genre where you build and manage a school hire teachers, enroll students and put them in the correct classes to make sure they graduate. Though could have missed this list because it only released a couple of days ago.
@@thehorde4868it’s not stating there’s anything better, just that the standard is terrible. Imo the best tycoon games were the railroad empire builders of the early 2000s that allowed the player to build his railroad network growing and servicing cities, but then branching into industry and resource exploitation where your moves had an impact on the growth or contraction of cities and settlements on the map. I’ve yet to run into a title that did it as well as those did 20 or so years ago.
The best Tycoon game of all time is Comrade Potato's "Workers and Resources." He will take you through the most efficient ways to run your empire: Keeping all natural resources rushing out of the ground, water, and air, depleting the environment of all it has in exchange for his bank account. With that money, he will purchase ways for you to donate more of your time for the good of the nation, all the while thanking him for letting you live in his empire. Orbital Potato's Workers and Resources series are the best!
I understand your logic. However, With the 50 or so series that Comrade-Dictator Potato has amazingly created, W&R will always be a best tycoon game, in any year it's played. Before Comrade Potato was a Dictator, he was a super-secret spy. He infiltrated many capitalist "Democracy" (3&4) nations, becoming their leader, repeatedly. His mission was simple, prove to our great nation, how silly capitalists are. It worked. Here's to Comrade Potato making a new W&R series soon!
Excellent list. What I particularly like about your lists is, I do my own looking around about a specific genre, have my own list - then you'd put out a vid of topic, and boom, you'd have titles I totally missed out. Haha just awesome. Much love put into another vid, as always!
I was actually suprised by the Factory Town idle game, I have spent way to much time on it since it dropped. It might not have been totally balanced, but the Dev is really spitting out updates to it left and right. So that have to be my biggest surprise game of the year so far, and it costs almost nothing. I have also played Big Ambitions, and used 10 hours or so, but I will return to it when there is more content. And thanks for another bunch of games to check out. Perhaps you should extend your rating system, so not all games is almost 10/10. =)
big ambitions is a good game. im been holding out for update .3 with the security update, and more so the copy and paste store layouts. so setup is not so teidious. opening stores and setting up is so annoying and slow. i mean u do a clothing big box store setup it legit takes me 2-3 hours at least to get 1 store setup............like come on. beyond that and the end game stuff not working last i played its fun game, easily got 50 hours into it. and wanted more
3:16 you forgot to mention the Whole Cartel Like l side to the Drug trade where rival gangs will try and raid your businesses and can kill employees and gaurds
I'm in complete awe of this. I recently discovered something similar, and it left me in disbelief. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers
if you like rollercoaster tycoon you wont like park beyond. its obviously just in this video bc its payd. but the rest is really good video. thanks 4 that
@@chris_3079 Did you reply to the wrong comment? Or maybe you were confused. Hahah. LOL. Railroad Tycoon was a tycoon game in the 90s, before Rollercoaster Tycoon, before Oregon Trail 2. I wasn't mispronouncing Railway Empire by calling it Railroad Tycoon. LOL. But, either way, thanks for replying.
Railway empire looks really good. Just pity for me I'm not exactly fun of steam era. Diesle and electric locomotives would do it much more interesting for me personally. As long as I know there is nothing like that. Pity
"youre have never played anything like this game" uh yeah except THIS GAME and like months ago.. yawn.. I played it for like 2 days and got bored ...next.....
Quite disappointing. Like mud cupcakes after you tasted real ones. I'm tired of uninspired games. Copies of copies of copies made by people who wanted money, not fun, so they did the bare minimum to not be sued for scamming. I'd rather keep playing OTTD and that says a lot. No offense to mud cupcake fans. Enjoy.
Can't wait to see if the Commodore Amiga _(68020 CPU with FPU or higher and 2MB chip-RAM and 4MB Fast-RAM minimum-requirements, with serial and parallel-port)_ CDROM version game of _"Legacy digital data storage device and media clearance, excess, surplus, residual & liquidation stock buyer and wholesaler Tycoon"_ will come out, and if the 'moralist' expansion pack will bring the PEGI age rating up from 12 to 16 for having the warning _"Contains larceny"_ on the packaging. My comment has no hate in it and I do no harm. I am not appalled or afraid, boasting or envying or complaining... Just saying. Psalms23: Giving thanks and praise to the Lord and peace and love. Also, I'd say Matthew6.
If this is the "best", that's quite the disappointment. Guess I've just had enough free time to experience better, imo. Not nostalgia talking. edit: and once again it is a dumb vid title. "Best" without context, and no proof.
