EDITED: For greater detail and clarity. Honorable mention for a good power boost is the Enhanced Plasma Manifold. It comes on the Oberth Light Science Vessel for 15,000 dill at the ship requisitions, Exceptionally easy to get. A good budget alternative as long as you are not after weapon power. Notable differences to the induction coil -+50 current power levels instead of 62.5 -Effects last 15s not 30s (including immunity to subsystem disables) -Shields instead of Weapons
The EPM console is really nice for use with the Onboard Dilithium Recrystallizer trait, especially if you're an engi captain. +30% bonus all damage if you max out all three subsystems. Just remember to use an engi ability after you click it. Engi captain abilities count for this.
Regarding the M6/Temporal Escort, Stu said Lobi but he meant Dilithium. He quoted the correct dil price :) Great Video, popping this one on my discord server.
@@focusonrevenues You may have got it in a bundle. Before T1-4 ship when Dil and per toon. I have the Light Sci Vessel from a giveaway, accountwide. 15k Dil these days.
Very informative video. As others have commented, the M6 is available from the ship vendor for 75k Dil, not Lobi (thankfully). Another point is the DPRM is also available on account wide unlock if you purchase the Mudds Dread bundle, should you wish to spend that kinda money. Stu does make a good point that most players think getting consoles/ships/traits will automatically boost your DPS. Whilst they do help, as Stu says, you have to understand how they interact and your timing & pilot skills are key to getting the most out of anything you put on your build in STO. Looking forward to the next vid. Hoping to see Stu's take on the next Mudds bundle (whenever they decide to release it), may be even look at the best torps for a torp build etc.
The Flagship Tactical Computer and Adaptive Emergency Systems consoles are also both available on the Legendary Bortasqu/Avenger and Legendary Adapted Scimitar/D'Deridex bundles.
Thanks for the great video Stu. You are going to make me assess what consoles I am using on my Galaxy Dreadnaught. The thing flies like a pig, so I have been using the agony distributor, just for the inertia and turn rate, and rarely using the clicky. I may have to hot key it to fire with my Maelstroms, for the alpha strike.
Console - Universal - Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator of the Valdore Heavy Warbird T3 or Legendary Valdore Temporal Ops Strike Wing Escort Warbird T6, great for survivablity but no clicky.
Love your videos! Been following you for years off/on:) Would love to see you do videos on rotations. I use 1 buff spam bar atm, but am still trying to figure out the ideal order, etc.. 😁Keep up the great work, my friend!
This is a great video. So many other guide videos out there just talking about consoles that come from lockbox or promo ships that are completely out of reach for me.
I love the enhanced induction coil/enhanced plasma manifold and wish there was a t6 console versiond equate these to consoles to a battery like the red matter
50 damage resistance rating is 32.8% actual damage reduction. 100 rating is 48.0%, and 200 is 61.2% 50 Cat1 + 50 Cat2 is 65.6% reduction. So yes, it's very good. Edit: This might not be totally accurate, but it will be pretty close to this. Bonus DR has its own scaling curve.
Don't think any consoles that have a less than 2 minute recharge, get effected by UnCon . This console has a 1 min recharge . Enough Uncon procs and you could run it with nearly 100% uptime . So it doesn't get Uncon . Still up for a lot of time, and can be compensated for with batteries .
As opposed to the induction coil and taking up a console slot, I’m using the red matter capacitor. For the fleet power network array. Just an fyi for players that might have consoles slotted that they are satisfied with.
The Enhanced Induction Coils has an uptime of 33% and can increased uptime with Space Trait: Unconventional Systems, the Red Matter Capacitor has a up time of 12% and cannot increase up time. Both Synergize well with the Fleet Power Network Array to get a large boost to it's clicky which scales off Aux Power. You can always use both.
It's nice to see that you're using the new ambassador class everyone keeps saying that it's awful it's in the anniversary pack that nobody likes but I might still get it 🤔

I love using the Experimental Power Redirection console off the Excelsior 2 on all my phaser builds. It may not be the "best" but its my current favorite. Also im gonna have to pick up the imolating phaser lance and universal designs at some point. Knew about them but wasnt running elite back then.
Having just used the Phoenix Token the get the Bajoran Interceptor myself, It does not come with a set warp core. It unfortunately has a standard issue one.
Trying to read the tool tips on each console is hard because of how small it is. I think you should insert a zoomed-in image of each console tool tip to make it easier to read.
Hey stu I found some extra info about the summer ship, or the T-6 obelisk ship. In the mission sphere of influence it shows that the ancient obelisk technology set is now a 4 piece not three like before. I got screen shots if you want me to show you on discord. Let me know. I can also pass it on to auggy and casual instead if you want . But figured I'd give you the info first
what do you think of the Polarity Generator, from the Tamarian Deep Space Cruiser? I use the clicky, Court of Silence, on the big boys, i find it effective, and miss it when not equiped. Not having the DPRM, in some builds i use the Ablative Hazard Shielding, from the Arbiter, as that last resort to avoid death.
You cannot reduce the one minute cooldown of Enhanced Induction Coils, or any other of the consoles from this set with Unconventional Systems. Imagine having a 30s cd on Subspace Jumper though :P
If you fire the Lance every 5 seconds, you can fire 4 times per recharge cycle. 4 shots, 2 remaining, +1 from recharge for 3, fire 3 more, you have 5 seconds to wait to fire number 8, after that you are waiting the full 20 to fire again. You cannot fire the lance indefinitely.
Hey MC Stu. Quick question: if you could only have 5 consoles, which set of 5 would you value the most for energy builds? (let's say Phaser and Beam Overload) Edit: Also, minor correction for your video. Temporal Escort (and console) is available for Dil, same for Bird of Prey (and console). They don't cost Lobi.
If anyone is lucky enough to have the Gorn Raider with "Complex Plasma Fire" the quad cannon and console, plasma melts everything. Pair with Isolitic 2 pcs from lobi for 25% plasma dmg and Altimid set. I use it on the "World Razr" and I am near breaking 1 mil DPS.
30:15 im pretty sure you dont need to target friends, its a AOE effect, anyone that is close to you will get the effect, cuz there is no way you can target "up to 12 pets" (also when i click it, i see a pink cicle around my ship)
I'm saying $130 because it's how much it was sort of the price that I saw on mudds store for the risian Corvette. One of the reasons why I clung to this game and quit all points bulletin is because all points bulletin was charging $60 for a digital gun that did literally nothing else. I told my friends "star Trek online isn't like that it's more player friendly!"
Well if you play yhe game and spend 5 to 15 minutes at the most doing the events you get everything for free I have done every event from before delta rising came out I have every teir 6 event ship every teir 6 winter event ship every teir 6 summer event ship every event kit and kit module every event set every event console and heavy weapon every event ground set then there's all the free stuff they give out for doing the regular main episodes
@@elvangulley3210 Yeah, but a lot of us did not understand the importance of events early on, and many, many more, just where not around. So opening paths for some of the new players is helpful.
@nunya3163 how do you not understand. Do event get free stuff. Free stuff is always better than no stuff. Before I started buying c store ships I had to do delta rising in a event ship. The t5 summer event party cruiser. And later the t5 breen ship. My first t6 ship was an event ship the ferengi Nandi. I saw players miss out on the bajorian ship because they wanted to protest the number of events we were getting. Then they would come back crying because they missed out on at the time the best console in the game, the best heavy weapon in the game, one of the best kit modules in the game, and one of the best meta perks in the game. The events take very little time or effort to complete. There's no reason to not do them. Any free to play or budget minded player needs to do every event and do every recruit event.
Sadly, this list is probably not optimal for PlayStation and XBox players due to the way that the "clicky" activation works. On PS/XBox some consoles allow for "auto-execute" with various trigger conditions, but not all of them do.
The Phaser Lance, unfortunately, is borderline useless if you’re a 4-4 and broadside. It’s impossible to keep on target. I’m curious what happens with the Ahwahnee console if your aux power dips. Let’s say you buff it up to over 100 and hit the console, then 10 seconds later you hit another console or ability that saps aux power (like A2B). Does the haste get set by the amount aux power at the moment of activation and stay at that haste? Or is it adaptive during the uptime of the console, based on present aux power?
The 3 piece set from the other two ships in that bundle are a must on all my ships and is part of a 4 piece set from the NX class in the Lobi store. That bundle cost me $200 CND but it was worth it.
And wen we git t6x 3 im going to want to add damage resistance and add hull heal with a iso mag t6x 4 and 5 another concel for adding additional damage
You never indicated where the "Immolating Phaser Lance" came from. Is it a console you have to spend your soul to afford (like the trait it synergizes with) or did it come on something?
Well, yes, cool consoles, all you need is an extra 10-12 billion credits, It's no big deal, because everyone has 100 billion in their pocket, right, guys? and that's just one character. And imagine if you need to wear at least 3. Logically, one Romulan, one from the federation and one Klingon.
I actually use the standalone game launcher, but I do have my arc account linked to my epic so depending on the sales in the stores, I may use one or the other
