Hahaha, that’s definitely one way to use the MPUV! Or you could fill up the cargo pod with explosives and drop it once they add those features. Might be a nice little sleeper bomber 😅👍
I really hope it will really be usefull despite the RAFT and the SRV which seem to be able to fill the same role: getting cargo from planetside to a bigger ship in orbit. Sweet looking base anyway!
I think the MPUV will keep a lot of utility given its convenience and small form factor, which allow it to stow aboard other carriers more easily than the other two!
I just bought the MPUV cargo thinking it looked really neat but not realizing it didn't have quantum. Going to have to figure out some on-planet job routes to make that money back lol.
Super informative and helpful video! Really appreciate the breakdown of each ship in such a clear way. Highly recommend this channel to any SC player, newbie or veteran! Lots of incredible resources on so many diff topics👍🏻👍🏻 keep it up!!
So with upcoming large tractor beam, I fail to see any use for this vewhicle. Maybe a shuttle in the Merchant Man? Maybe caring racing modules to the track. This will never have a purpose in game, without some arbitrary design. Maybe they will add a highly unstable material on a planet side mine that can't be near Q drive or be moved with a tractor beam. But currently, it's like the Mule -nearly worthless in current game play loops.
That’s a fantastic point and one I’d love to see them address. I suspect they may already have some designs in mind, but it would have to be better than alternatives! I believe the escape rafts are supposed to snap in grid to the shuttle variant, so that could be a helpful rescue vessel. And the cargo could be used to shuttle goods from an LZ to atmo, but there are a lot of other ships that can do the same. Here’s to hoping they do the MPUV justice 🤞
Yeah, well, there are uses of mpuv, but quite minor. I am thinking of using a personnel version on 890j to transport people when gathering cargo after ERT's. Also, with scu boxes being usable by Player (meaning that you can drop stuff in it) you can also use the cargo version to supply org members with ammunition and supplies during an org event.
AAAAH. Am I really the only one who hear the mighty trumpets of John Cena when I see the MPUV? 🎺🎺🎺🎺 PA PADA PAAAAA!!! "Perfect ship if you need to transport stuff... not too far". ROFL
XD genius video! BUT this ship must not be compared with other ship instead must be compared to ground vehicles, it can handle a lot of cargo, way faster and can fly, is just size 1, can be spawned in small platforms and then stored or left behind
Still don't get how it's possible for this ship to hold just 2SCU in that absolute brick of a carrier box. Hell, just lose the box and just attach an 8SCU crate directly.
Hahaha, well this review was definitely tongue in cheek but I think the MPUV will get some good utility in the future! And thank you for your kind words, although I’m not responsible for your wallet 😉👍
If you were actually pronouncing your name in latin, it would sound like "wichi". I misspelled a latin tattoo after year two of studies, and learned after year three xD Not trying to be an ass, but I thought you'd wanna know ;)
It actually depends on which time we’re referring to, as the dialects of Latin have themselves changed; at times pronouncing the v as a w and others as a v!
Yea it’s a definite drawback, although I suspect we’ll see this ship mostly used alongside others and docked amongst carriers like the Idris and Javelin!
