Due to hygiene, it may never happen. It's not good to have sleeping water. And connecting the cleaner to the pipes is a bit much.

LG has just released a product similar to samsungs. Its called the LG Cordzero ThinQ A9 Kompressor plus. In which the docking station also empties the dust bin automatically. I was hoping you would mention that too maybe in a separate video? Please

The thing I hate most about LG smart devices is their rubbish software and they don't seems to fix any bugs on it. You can't integrate LG Thinq with Smartthings and Home Assistant as well. Basically you get an LG, if doesn't play well with other smart devices.

I have the s9+ and my last bag lasted 7 months. I changed the first bag after 4 months right before may and then forgot... I got a warning that the s9 bin was full and checked it out... it was... had dusty fur hanging out the bottom green port. Put in my second bag in December. Really impressed with it, but want object avoidance because my chairs are the perfect size to trap the bot so every night I lift my chairs and pick up the floor. Would be nice to let it just go every night without having to touch anything. But, I pick up my dog's bed, make sure cables aren't down, and put the chairs on the kitchen table.

Your reviews are the best! I'm struggling to find a great robot vacuum + mop (if it works well) with laser navigation instead of optic navigation. I don't like my vacuum to have a camera that film everything even if it won't collect or give my data. Max budget around 800 US (1000 CAD) What would you suggest? Thank you!!

Wide brush is good, i got my first round bot from deebot . and it sucks ass compared to my old neato d85. The fact that the brush is in the middle is a horrible idea, small things like screws get lodged between the bot and the floor and scrape along the floor. Going to get a more modern neato and sell it.

They already have so many cameras and sensors that they are also suitable for a perfect spy robot with an internet connection. If the secret services are curious about the apartment, they will only look around controlled remotely. This is starting to be awesome ... !!!!

People need to stop supporting the rumour that the Roborock self-empty bin will be compatible with products that have already been made. If there were any hidden ports meant for the self-empty bin, people would have discovered them months ago

Actually backwards compatibility with AE bins is usually done by coming with a different dust bin in the box.

@@VacuumWars That would make sense if there was any way for the dirt in the bin to be extracted. There aren't any ports or anything that could be removed to create a port. I can't speak for the owner of every model but I've removed the entire bottom plate of my S4 & there wasn't anything close to an airway for the dustbin. As for the idea that it's just the S6 MaxV that is compatible with the bin, people have already done teardowns. Going as far down as the motherboard. One of the main benefits of a robot vacuum to me, is that they can reach places I can't reach easily. But it seems as if bots are getting taller these days. Which makes it useless to me, since it won't go under the bed or couch.

I’d like to see an auto-empty station that: A) can plug into an existing central vac outlet for charging power as well as emptying out the dustbin B) includes a water reservoir that the robot can use to refill itself for mopping C) a base station that washes the reusable mopping pad when it gets too dirty - or changes a disposable one for a new one (so it can work unattended for much longer periods of time!)

Did no one see that the mop itself actually raises up when the carpet is detected? So that you could actually truly vacuum and mop in one cycle?? This mopping system looks like it will blow deebots out of the water with the sonic scrubbing system up to 3,000 times a minute compared to deebots 480 with the T8AVI upgraded mopping system. Larger water tank too for the S7.

You're next mission, if you accept it, will be to specify connected Robots which send your mapping data outside of your house. I find all this new technology fascinating and helpful, yet, like for the microphones on smart TVs and smart remote, cameras and microphone on smartphone, we have no control of what is really happening. I love the idea of a robot vacuum mapping my flat to be efficient. I love way less the idea of private companies gathering data on my way of life without me knowing :(

Watching this over a year later is interesting. Samsung never released the Jet 95 but instead tweaked it and changed the name to Bespoke Jet. Hopefully you can review this item when it becomes available in a couple months. It has a duo-clean type floor head that looks promising

Would you be able to do an Apex vs Vertex shark comparison? I watched your vertex video and wanted one, but I can’t find them in the Uk at all, all I can find is the AZ950UK, which I think is the apex. Hi, also a s5 max owner... Quick question how do you switch between floormaps in the app? I got three floors an mapped them but if I want to choose different floor it seems rather long process to select a diff floor map... I use this method: Open app > select device > edit map > tap on the 'floor names > tap on 'edit' of the floor you want to choose > tap on edit room > then it loads the map and I just go back to the home screen This feels like I am not doing it the right way

If you have robo vacs in all floors, the stairs don't need to be vacuumed very often.

Would be testing the following : Proscenic and Honiture since these are almost $200 cheaper than any other known branded self emptying robovacs. Also Share Vacmop pro robot vaccum with sonic cleaning seems to be out and looks promising.
