If you grab a 10-12" bungee cord before closing the tent, pull the top down until almost closed, and then run the bungee through the handle, you then can easily tuck all the material in before fully closing and locking down the shell. To clarify the process; pull the top of the shell until about 3" from being closed. Attach one end of the bungee to those silver bars in the track to the lower left of the handle, run the cord through the handle and then the other end of the bungee goes to the other bar to the lower right of the handle. Now you can leave the top partially closed and tuck all the material in before fully closing and locking it down. Makes the process soooo much easier and almost as quick as opening the tent.
Oh wow this is awesome! I have so many bungees just laying around I'm going to have to give it a shot! Stuffing the materials is literally the only thing I dislike about this tent😅😂
Thank you for showing tent. Saw tent few months ago on RU-vid but now kinda of looking more at it. All other reviews say same that good tent and each really like it; especially for the price.
@@Meanderin_Mitch - yep, right front corner under a little notch in the mattress. The Anderson connector under the tent is the 50 amp size. I still can't figure out where the elastic cord attaches in the front!
Great review! Thanks for taking the time to make it! Also I was wondering what size is your memory form you have in there? Did you put it on top of the other mattress?
Thank you for the kinda comment and question! The mattress topper was an old king 4inch memory foam topper I had from college! I cut it to size but if I had to guess a queen would fit pretty close to perfect! Keep in mind if you close it with the topper inside it is much harder to close properly!
I bought this rtt like 3 months ago,the one i dont like is too heavy and whistles while you driving, any suggestions when it come from the whistles, thank you
Great Question! I believe some of the more simple fixes for the whistling would be sliding the tent forwards or backwards in increments until it stops, or adding an additional wind deflector to the front of your vehicle. For most vehicles, for the whistling to happen there has to be some unusual wind current to actually produce a sound. Tiny adjustments should help with that!
If you are alllll the way up to the top it's gonna be close. I'd say you'd probably end up sleeping slightly diagonal, which if you're by yourself is totally fine! You'd only have an issue if you have someone else with you.
