In this video, I take a tour of four #NEXUSRV #SUPERC #RV with @MattsRVReviews at General RV center in Tampa Florida. Matt's channel- @MattsRVReviews Matt's video with owner of Nexus- • LIVE Nexus RV with the...
I love you two working together! It would be awesome if you two could somehow work together to bring us more Matt and Andrew material!! Great job, i love your channel and love Matt's RV reviews too.
Andrew, @19:08 it's: "make sure you smash that thumbs up button. What RU-vidr and RV salesman are going to get soaking wet to show you a motorhome? Nobody!"
I love these motorhomes. And I love you two teaming up. Got a good laugh with Andrew on the tiny bunk and sticking his head over the top of the shower. Here we go now!
Absolutely one of the best comparison videos. Matt, Andrew is on to something here. Step up to adding comparisons to both channels. Im now considering a Super C vs Class A. 👏👏👏👏👍
I love the Nexus because if its simplicity and pure functionality. I don't like the fancy bowl style pimp sinks. I'm a Marine and I love function over form. I'd be happy with an olive drab or battleship grey RV or even Camouflage. I love the metal sinks. Pure functionality just excellent. If only no slides just fantastic.
I love seeing the coaches I love seeing both of you together I watch both of your channels you guys are great you make my day when I get to watch your videos both of you stay safe and take time for yourselves
While I dont dispute that steel is stronger than aluminum given the same thickness, the actual thickness is really never discussed. If the other manufacturers that use aluminum are using a thicker gauge of material, then their sidewalls may be stronger. Needs to be an apples to apples comparison
I own the 2020 Nexus Wraith currently. Bought it in August and by October had three major leaks: PTrap was cross threaded and leaked water all underneath shower, black tank flush out was leaking and washing machine leaked, threw a code then stopped working. Because I wrote and sent in multiple pictures of above situations, they (Nexus) paid for repairs, BUT they wouldn’t pay for the time I was out of the RV itself. $1,500 in hotel fees sucked and it wasn’t my fault Nexus workers could t screw a PTrap on correctly or get the black tank flush out sealed correctly either. The washing machine is still out getting “fixed”. It’s now December.... oh, and the heating ducting underneath the fridge and cabinet area was not taped together ( just hanging out loose like a slinky) without heat tape for some reason! Heat was filling the cavity of the cabinetry, what idiots! Thankfully my husband could reach it and taped it. Nexus Rep, Debbie, said I shouldn’t expect much from workers out in “trailer land” ( Elkhart, Indiana)!
Awesome to see you guys teaming up in this one! Have to say I am less than impressed with wraiths, bathrooms and toilets are not for me. The best of the bunch IMO was the bunk model ... again except that unexplainable poor toilet position, I mean #!@?#&#?*??? Loved the video .. thanks for posting!
You two guys are great, thank you guys for going into the storms to get content for the blog Andrew what about the larger superC and larger engines trucks that are built to travel and ease of repairs at any truck stop
Andrew, you and Matt do a great job, I see a lot of good value on these Super “C’s”, but I have to agree with you Andrew, I am more Class A diesel pusher person. I think you two should do a full video on the Entegra Cornerstone.
It was so good to see you both again in this video. I love the both of you. You both make me laugh. You both are the best ubers sakes guys. Glad to have joined both your channels. Thank you both so much for this video. See you both soon. And stay dry. And safe.
A couple of years ago, Nexus said they were correcting the exterior doors so they'd open to the side instead of up. Web site pix STILL show them opening UP. BIG RED FLAG!
Just heard the story how Nexus screwed some of their customers and sold them products that did not meet the weight requirements, see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WupfFbSw5Jo.html. And then the owner of Nexus threatened the customer with a lawsuit and lost. Despicable owner. Instead of making an acceptable product in the first.place, the owner threatened the elderly couple, rejected the offer to find an acceptable solution where Nexus could make $25k more in revenue, screwed the customer, and lost the lawsuit. Sad example poor business practice and poor behavior of the owner of Nexus. Really shameful.
Very nice seeing Matt and Andrew together. That said, the weak-azz 300 HP Diesel CUMMINS, and the Continental tires early in the video, are so-not doing it for me with the first review. The option for stackable washer/dryer definitely rang my bell. She is how she is, as built.
Great content as always, interesting debate about the Super C not being allowed into the Class A motorhomes, there is a certain very popular motor coach site in Indio CA that would allow my used 2006 Prevost in but did not allow my buddies and travel partners 2017 Freightliner Show Hauler that was north of $500,000K, on another note have you seen this video of this awesome looking newer Liberty Prevost buried in the sand? Makes me sick to my stomach, I am sure Frank Jr or Dean know who this unlucky person is, reminds me of the video you had of you're cracked windshield event..I am sure this tow was $$$ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZmSnHiJugqY.html
NotBoeingnotgoing... I’m considering a Super C to replace my diesel pusher class A, I think not being allowed in luxury class A parks may be a small price to pay for a super C, when it comes to service/repairs. Any truck repair shop can work on your super C rig chassis while your class A diesel pusher you have to beg and/or stand in line for someone to work on it (most are a pain to service) not to mention the mechanics must lay down in your bedroom closet instead of being outside under a hood to service the engine!
@@divadyrdnal Not criticizing the super C at all, We were just upset that we got turned away for a few nights during the off-season at a very popular motor coach resort that didn’t allow a half million vehicle. Before the whole world got turned around with COVID-19 I was actually in the market for a used show hauler or renegade with a garage that would allow me to get rid of my trailer behind my XLII. The major factor to me in possibly getting any type of super see is the fact that it is a over the road truck and you are correct can be serviced easily on the road at any truckstop not to mention the safety factor with having an engine in front of you. Even the smaller super C are very nice, I made a mistake last year of going up the Pacific Coast Highway with my motorcoach, never do that again, with a super C no issues, our business has several box trucks based on the Freightliner M2, just watch out for DEF issues. I hope you’re able to purchase one
NotBoeingnotgoing, Sorry my words gave that impression, but I did not take your comments as criticism. I agree completely with your thoughts on these “Class A resorts”...when Super C’s become more popular maybe these “resorts” will reconsider and not block these expensive RVs only because of chassis construction.
Matt and Andrew, I heard from a salesperson that works for your company ... They had a shocking opinion - Nexus will be out of business within 2 years. He says their quality control sucks and they hardly pay out warranty claims. What’s your opinion? ** edit, he doesn’t work for General. It’s another large national dealer.
@@MattsRVReviews it’s NIRVC - he said they carried them for about a year and then dumped them for that reason. You guys don’t have many concerns with owners of Nexus RV’s?
@@kyleknott1097 LOL Ohh you must be talking about Chris. No I think Nexus is Top Notch. I think they need to update their interior decor but its a good quality RV....
The counter white wood look if I am seeing it right is what we had in our ranch home for 20 years dad ranched..and we fixed the old home in the mid 70's. So the colors that are back..this dark no red in it brown to black and white to gray with twists like the gray walls I do not love...and the turquoise splash of the 60's..lol is back. Everything is about the same with a twist...One good friend in 60's ..her mom had the greatest 60's house..and the kitchen was all turquoise appliances...the Barbie friend..lol.
HI MATT..NICE RV..NEXUS!❤!1.CUMMINS 2..OUTSIDE AND HOOKUPS 3.FLOORPLAN 😔1.TOILET IS WEIRDLY TALL...NOTHING BAD TO SAY..THIS RV IS BEAUTIFUL..TOP NOTCH!❤
I've Been following Both of Your Camels for a while and I love both of your chanel's for different reasons. But when You two are together it's Awesome.
For a price less than some gas Class-A like Tiffin Open Road or Newmar Bay Star, you can get this Nexus Super-C with Cummins diesel, Alcoa wheels and German tires, is an bargain. Yes, you might have some dislikes, but you cannot beat the price. With the money you save, you can probably customize the RV and make it into your perfect Super-C.
If Nexus can build relatively inexpensive motorhomes out of Azdel, why isn’t everyone using it? It sounds to me that de-lamination is the bane of the industry and if Azdel doesn’t do that, why not?
They need to start making these for touring bands like the bandwagon! Tour costs are insane these days with gas prices and short term leases up to $6k a week.
Hey can you picture the pure beauty of an RV with a WW2 inspired olive drab paint job with white stars on the sides. No I'm not kidding. If I had the money I'd own a B17 flying fortress and travel in it.
Love your work as always, but I have a dear friend who ordered a Nexus custom built DIAMOND class A , that has had MAJOR problems with the coach from the delivery! Maybe the class C is different than the A. Thomyt
Andrew , just started doing my home work on super c’s . Do you have a video on the Ghost? Would there be any advantages to spending the 50k to move up to the next level in super c like resale ect. Cecil
The toilet is perfect for post hip replacement, or low back pain people. Flexible guy like you two can get your heels on the edge of the step for squat position
