It took me a minute to warm up to vanilla fragrances but I usually like vanillas when they have dimension to them, like a citrus vanilla, a musky vanilla, a rosy vanilla, a woody vanilla; something to balance out some of the sweetness ❤
I’ve tried dozens of vanilla fragrances over the years, but my absolute favourite is by MONTALE Vanille Absolu. It’s just incredible. Very powerful and slightly smoky, a bit like vanilla pipe tobacco. I’ve honestly never received that many complements by men and women for a scent. I had a doctor’s appointment at the hospital, and when the male nurse entered the room he said:”Oh, that’s you who smells so divine. I was sniffing out the trail…” Never ever have I heard that before (even though I always think I smell “divine”😂).
I can’t get enough of Bianco Latte ( didn’t expect that) , don’t care for Babycat & Devotion, tried ones Arthur of Penhaligons and loved it, must try Seta & Bois Dore. Part 2 please 🙏 i also love vanilla ❤️
My favourite of all the vanilla fragrances I own and the ones you mentioned is bois doré. It’s perfectly yummy without being too foodie. Definitely my mood booster too. ❤
@@Chyna_doll821 I’m afraid I haven’t smelled orchidée vanille, so I won’t be able to compare. But if you like tobacco vanilla fragrances with a tiny gourmand touch you would like this.
A good vanilla is hard to find. Some of my favourite vanilla scents are Dior Vanilla Diorama, Vanilla Love by Jimmy Choo, Dior Hypnotic Poison, MFK Grand Soir and Libre Intense
I liked Devotion on the first spritz but as it dried down, the lemony take became annoying and almost sour to me, like the vanilla and lemon was separating from each other or the panacotta note was becoming sour... idk it could be the hot weather.
I love all except for Devotion, it’s too cloying and synthetic. My top vanilla are Absolute Aphrodisiac, Sur Ma Peau, Bake and Vanilla EDP. Sets is so underrated 😢
