A shorter one would work well to get on top of the rack (that I haven’t built yet) for our old suburban. A good solution for sure, off to Amazon.

Beauty of these is they stay strong at whatever height you want them at…so will work great on the suburban with major roof rack and maybe higher rack top tent.

I’ve been wanting a telescoping ladder for my Sprinter. This is great! I’m curious how the magnet mount will hold up in the rain though.

It should work well in wet conditions, I had the same concern so while washing my van I put the ladder on the magnet mount and experienced no slippage at the mount.
