Im wondering the same thing. Fantasmic is fantastic as I've seen it a few times. From this video, this show doesn't look like it is a good. Curious to know from others that have seen both?

***** It was originally billed as a "Summer" show, nightly, then it was only in select days. Currently there are no times for the show past August and the accompanying dessert party doesn't show past July. Have you seen something else that show's it continuing past the summer? Thanks

Wesley's World I worked on the construction side of this project. I worked with the entertainment technical directors to build what they needed to make the show work. Like the speaker towers and the projection towers. Also had to build all of the holding areas for the fire effects. A lot goes into making a show like this.

Pender, Party of 2! I remember when the built the projection and sound towers. The Dolby 7:1 sound is so awesome!!

Hi there so I work at Hollywood Studios and it is possible to make both but it is tricky. You need to be able to get out of the fantastic stadium fast to avoid the giant crowd slowing you down so if you can get a seat in the last few rows or even get one of the seats behind the walkway and leave the second fantastic is over you can make it to the front of the Chinese theatre in time

Nightly at 945 until further notice as of now. WE were there on June 26 and it is awesome!

+brian kitching It is in the dessert party area. One of the few places that doesn't get blocked by trees. Just a bit of scaffolding from the stage show.

We had a park employee-Ryan-from the planet of Kashyyk (but works in The Launch Bay) told us to get between the blue tower and the lamp post in front of the stage area. When you are there you will see a blue tower and a yellow tower and know what I'm talking about. He was spot on! Looks very similar and close to where this was taken but is open to anyone. Ge there early-Skip Fantasmic.

I agree. I attended the previous "Symphony in the Stars" and it was MUCH better. You're right... it does look like they're trying to save money on fireworks.

I'm going to see it tomorrow night, but "Symphony in the Stars" was downright incredible. Pretty hard to beat in any case.

Seriously, this one is bad compared to the old one. I'm shocked. It went from being the best firework show I have ever seen, to just another show.

Yeah, the more I see it, the more I appreciate the old one. You already have the visuals of the pyrotechnics....the music adds a beautiful layer, and the voiceovers add an even nicer subtle layer. This just feels like cotton candy on top of ice cream on top of peanut butter fudge. Just too much. It does surprise me that they included the prequels as much as they did, since Lucasfilm seems to have made it clear that they are avoiding as much of the prequels as possible, not wanting to acknowledge them at all, ever. Since SW is Disney's now, they have full allowance to just keep the good stuff and get rid of the rest, so it surprises me they haven't exercised that option. (ie: shirts that have Hayden Christenson's force ghost and not Sebastian Shaw's)

Bob B well another thing is a majority of the Firework launchers were in the areas under construction so the fireworks weren't gonna be as good, but the projections and lighting effects are top notch
