That is one hike I would love to do when I get out to LA sometime! I like the idea of getting breakfast at the hotel and taking it back to the balcony of your hotel room. It is much more peaceful that way! I'm glad you are enjoying the California road trip so far!

So just as in life, taking the trails to where you do not know can be the most rewarding. :) The Beachside Best Western must be the Best because it is so far West that it really is beside the Pacific Ocean! hehe

Y’all should visit Houston and/or Austin, Texas.. being a Texan, I guess I’m a little partial to Texas though. But the Mexican food is probably just as good in Southern California. Hope you’re having a great time!

I used to live down the street from the Beachside Inn. Just a five minute walk. But it's so nice to see the view from the balcony. Makes me miss Santa Barbara. Cheers!

The video editing is really good as it looks like a show you would see on TV. I always wonder though how people can stand up so easily in those boats and get in and out of them without capsizing.

I have kayaked with the seals while in San Diego. Have to say it smelled pretty bad , but so much fun. There were a lot of them when I was there. Will you be heading out to Catalina on this trip?
