He was in a singing competition in 2017, came in 2nd and has been soaring to new heights everyday as more you tubers get a peek at him. He HAS been in an opera in France. I don't know the name of it ...might be the phantom of the opera. Check it out also. He shoots somebody in it. He is from Kazakhstan. Most people never heard of it until Dimash. He wants to bring the world together in song. He also composes. Check out his "War and Peace" song in his concert. That was one of his. He has been studying music since the age of 3 and preforming locally in his country since the age of 5 playing the piano. His grandmother took him to lessons because he was so enthralled with music and the teacher sad ...even then...he had perfect pitch!
You will find on your journey to Dimash that he is a wonderful human being too. I've seen some interviews of him that would make you cry at his maturity and respect for children and older persons. He said that to him his spirituality was more important to him that success, because we are human beings first and then what we choose to become stems from our interbeing. I'm not sure if you saw his last performance on TWB show, but he pulled himself out of the competition and gave up a million dollars, because h thought it unfair to compete against children. In fact he asked before He agreed to perform and compete was he going to be competing against children and they told him no. They were very disrespectful to him. I was very embarrassed at the way the US judges acted and would not be surprised if the show were boycotted next year. EVERYONE felt the way. Dimash has a lot of fan clubs all over the world and the buzz was horrific the next day!!!

As much as I loathe The World's Best, I'm almost glad you watched this first as the editing was terrible and as such you get to hear his voice but his PERFORMANCE is lost. He's more than a singer, his ability to emote and take you on a journey through or along with the song is amazing. You may check Dimash’s “Diva Dance” at Bastau Concert or at the competition Chinese show of “Singer 2017”. So far, No male singer ps can sing Diva Dance in live except Dimash.
You haven’t anything yet. And yes he is classically trained since age 5. The Singer show from China would be the best to start. It’s a top quality show where all contestants are famous professional singers where Dimash was invited as the youngest contestant ever being just 22 and completely unknown to the Chinese audience at that time. For some reason the world in some places I trying not to let the other people know of him. They know that he is a multimillion-dollar man and there's no one that can do what he does. I think some countries I'm very jealous of him that's why we are trying to the word to all the countries around the world and to all the teenagers out there. He's 24 years old he has six octane's I don't know if I said that correctly, but he should be known in Israel now to. My country love him already and they are spreading his music around. Other people are trying to get as big as he is right now because he is so big they don't know what to do for the first time in their lives. There are other people that sing good but I no they are very average and you can find them anywhere around the world but Dimash is in a class by Himself. Even I try to listen two other singers and I'm bored and I have to run back to him. I am one of his oldest fan.

Thank you for your nice reaction. TWB was not a good show, it was in my opinion a TV circus. Dimash would have been the winner but he quitt the show cause at the beginning before sign the contract he asked if he would compete against children and they show management told him a lie. At the end when he got the information that in the final were 2 children against him he decided that he will step out to let the children forward. A young piano player from India won the prize (1 million US Dollar) but Dimash won the heart of many people from the whole world. His best SOS performance he sang at slavic bazaar. He started vocal training in the age of 5 y and has a 6 octave range. His low notes you could watch in the song "Love is like a dream", there he starts with vocal fry, his highest whistle note you could hear during his GAKKU concert where he sang "Unforgettable Day". This song was composed by himself in the age of 19 and he hits there a D8 for 5 seconds. I´m looking forward for your next reaction video. Sorry for my poor English, my mother tongue is German.

Check out his performance “Opera 2”. It would make you shocked. He’s been trained for 20 years as he started singing from 4 or 5. So many people justify him as a best singer on earth. He’s huge in China with millions of fans. And currently becoming huge in Russia too.

@@israeliguyreacts5808 he initially said he didnt wanna compete against children, producers said he wouldnt. then they changed that at the semifinal, when he was gonna face a 12 year old girl from his own country and a very young pianist from India. So he said that he wanted to quit before his performance and the show cut it to look like it was said after his performance.

The WorldsBest videos are the only Dinash videos that i refuse to watch, becouse the show humiliated this beautiful angel and disrespected him. But am glad you discovered Dimash here.
This isn't his best performance of SOS because he was feeling under the weather at that time. Jet lag, fatigue, fever. Also, they chopped up his performance and the mic is problematic. Please listen to other performances, not from The World's Best (aka Worst) because they cut everything short. SOS at Slavik Basaar 2018 is wonderful. Listen to that version instead. I hope you can spread his name in Israel
Dimash is indeed the best singer in the world and you have seen nothing from him yet. However his performance at TWB was heavily chopped and show no justice to the performance. Don't know how it is in Israel, but he got half of China bat crazy - or how they say it these days "Dimashed". He has sold out solo concerts this year alone in London and two Moscow Kremlin Palace. That show.....The World's Best.....was not very successful but Dimash is already successful before he appeared on that show. That show tried treating him like a milk cow......they failed.....he left that show. That show needed him more than he needed that show.
He would be better if he didn't follow the modern custom of screaming during so many parts of his song. Songs don't have to contain excessive volume to be well sung. That being said, he has a great voice and an unnatural range. He's probably an alien and his songs are meant to pave the way for his people to control our minds before they invade. That has to be it. ;)
This song is originally from a rock opera, so I guess the belting parts are OK for this song. In his earlier renditions, Dimash didn't belt the last part, it was only in Singer 2017 (China) that he changed it because he had to really capture the audience who didn't know him nor understand the song's lyrics. He's sung it that way since then.
This show is butchering his art by the short presentation. He did better performances of this song. I think he was sick that time. Try "Hello", the diva song from the Bastau concert. The duett with Tengri, Dimash and Tengri "Swan goose". Autumn, adagio. there are more. His english improved since 2017.

The World's Best show is not a good source for viewing performances. Dimash has sung his complete 'SOS' elsewhere, you can find it on his channel. This show totally butchered it.
By the way, this song was first sung in the late 70's by French singer Daniel Balavoine, and later still, it was repopularized by French singer Gregory LeMarchal. Videos from both of them are available on RU-vid, you can dig them up with a quick search. They're worth a listen, because Dimash departed significantly from the French interpretation of the song.
