@@Tidepod_Prince or if you touch the net, catch the ball, go on the opponent's side of the court, attack the ball after the libero open hand passes the ball with a foot on the floor in the attack zone, have a fourth team touch, send the third hit through the plane outside the antenna, send the ball over the plane under the net... you get the idea.. Never say die though!
Kyle Paulino Yep!! Sadly I've seen and experienced amazing saves, yet the same team does not with the point. (Me bragging, but the ones I've experienced are mainly when I make the save. It just feels so sad when my team doesn't win the point when we work so hard for that one rally)
Kyle Paulino not for my team. I literally ran across an entire gym to help a shanked ball and one of the hitters hit it UNDER the net. And we’ve all been playing volleyball for 6+ years.
Because the other team often think they got the point and there’s no way they would save it but if the opposite team is on their Gard and ready the whole time they will have less chances to win the point back
@@ilaydaguven8900 its actually very fun whenever me and my friends play volleyball im usually the one that tries to defend and such, and its very fun trust me on that :)
Aya Shi Lim yeah you can use any part of your body it’s just arms, hands and wrists are most common (you just can’t hold the ball or lift it with your hands)
The first save had two amazing things. First, she dives OVER her teammate that already dove to get the second dig up. Second, it's the third touch, so she has to not only get the ball up, she has to get it over as well. Just an amazing play.
“Defense is the key to winning.” That’s what my coach always told us and it did us well...kinda. Not me though. 1. I suck at receiving 2. I ran into the bench in the sidelines while saving the ball 3. My passing sucks 4. I never learned how to dive...
I tried to pancake on concrete- Ruined some sweats I loved very much. Tbh tho the next day I felt fine until during an actual game I ran for a save I felt something pull a little/ stretch in my thigh. And that was indoor.
arsenicCinnamon oh you poor soul. I ran into the bench the last time I did a save...it wasn’t fun. I was an outside hitter and I barely spiked. Cuz my teammates weren’t able to retrieve a ball well enough/ the setter never set outside or right side....
Unless you look at where you’re about to risk your life first 😂 and then there’s also if you’re not yknow easy to hurt I guess idk lol my falls don’t hurt as much- however after trying something like that I get very sore sometimes
This reminds me when I used to play volleyball, I was the libero and tbh I loved being it❤️ I miss playing so much, it makes sad watching this cause it reminds me of the good ol’ days☹️ *to all of those asking yes we are allowed to used our feet*
Meee one time me and my friends were playing and everytime I just stand there and predict where the ball is going so I can receive it, but my predictions are always wrong TwT
I can relate. I was on a team back in highschool and my classmates played a round during PE. We weren't that good but played for fun. When a classmate of mine hit the ball too hard and was about to go out the line I actually chased the thing and hit it right back. The contact of the ball and my wrists echoed in the gym and those who watched whooped
bro i play basketball and was NEVER interested in volleyball in any sort of way but i never knew volleyball was THIS extreme like what df good job i could never do this
@@kymanichitulangoma do you know how to save the ball, do you know how the serve ? I'm sure these girls worked there butt off not trying to lose and not letting there team down.
My high school this girl saved it. And it was on our school news journal. They put in slow motion her fist on the ground and the ball bouncing right off. Its soooo cool
@@jessicamcanally6636 no one has an issue with females playing football but they'll have to have another league. Like the wnba or even this they arnt playing each other. Female football would be pretty cool. Just biologically they would have a really hard time taking the hits and keeping up in the NFL
What are you talking about? A man invented volleyball and men were originally the ones who started playing it professionally. It’s just more popular for there to be female leagues in middle and high schools. Besides, women have their own football leagues, they just can’t play in the NFL because they’d die.
No they didn’t, it was a cover on the block that the red team did therefore the blue team could play it since the red team already had a contact with the ball.
Yes you're allowed, but only if you're on the ground and can't get up in time to hit it with your hand or arm. Im a volleyball player and have had to kick it many times some also practice kicking it in practices.
The important thing is that the ball doesn't it the floor of your side but you can touch the ball with every part of the body. Obviously people use their hand because it's easier to control the ball and because you should play like this.
