Bangladesh has the best food hands down. Spicy, sweet umami, decadent and highly diverse flavors. Sad that some places can't live up to the hype of authentic and delicious BENGALI food.
Unfortunately some of these Bangladeshi restaurants don’t take pride in showcasing authentic Bangladeshi food by cooking it properly but they’re are some nice gems who do but we need everyone to raise their standards
Your friend is no foodie. Abit of a snob to be honest. She turned her nose up on everything and that comment “you’re really going in aren’t you” what’s that supposed to mean?
Oh dude no disrespect there are so many bad ones, from the look of the interior, cleanliness, hygiene and basic customer service. I’ve went into one in old Kent road and it was full of people chit chatting with the owner and no one was attending to customers plus no menus or prices shown, it was frustrating so I left. Al Kahf I would say is the nearest to decent restaurant
@@zurainaalam9518 okay and I don’t like eating rice with my hands, just saying people have preferences. No one is forced to eat rice with their hands if they don’t like it just like no one is forced to eat with a spoon, regardless of culture
Nobody cares if you have preferences or not u cant change a culture or a piece of culture it's like changing how you practise your religion because you dont like the way it's usually done@@macarohn
Your Friend that you always bring around with you is always giving coconut vibes lol 😂 Also where’s the sister she was such a viiiiibbeeeeeee bring back the sister !!!!!!
I’m Bengali and my dad offered to take our family out to a Bengali restaurant and I said no because my mum and grandma can make me food and also because in Indian restaurants the only Bengali thing they have is fish. Then he said that they have biriyanis and I got excited 😂
I feel the low rated restaurant you guys went to you went in with a preconception - knowing that it’ll be bad . And the fact that your friend didn’t try anything in this particular restaurant shows how much of a snob she is.
Please say it properly,it’s not bangala,it’s Bangla,(ban-gla). And if you are not a person who can appreciate different culture food, you shouldn’t be reviewing them ,sorry to say,and I’m sure you don’t eat with cutlery’s in Somalia, the best tool to eat food is with clean bare hands.
Heyy I have a vid idea! Could you try the blind, deaf, mute challenge while baking/cooking? I think it will be really funny and amazing to watch! Ty btw I ❤ ur vids. I started watching ever since you started :D .
You should do a 24h Wingstop challenge. If you do I recommend the full flavor fix. Lemon pepper fries, Korean spicy for boneless and Louisiana rub, tenders garlic parmesan and ranch dip
You should have gone to Kolapata (Banana leaf) in Whitechapel. They’re food is really delicious and reasonably priced. Please note Bangladeshi home cooked food is the real deal, because food in some of these restaurants are catered for the non Bengali tastebuds and it tastes nothing close to the authentic Bengali home style cooking.
the first restaurant, was I the only one watching the lady in the back coughing, taking up the utensils and packing them with the same hand she coughed in?
You are so underrated! You deserve more attention. Also I respect your friend's tastebud. But there can be better way to express your likings as well as dislikings. The mashed potato is our traditional food and it is served with rice. It is eaten exactly how you ate. As the rice is always served hot/warm, it doesn't matter if the mashed potato is cold. However, she is very picky in eating. It is not very great while exploring food diversity. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
So proud of you for eating like a true bengali!❤the second restaurant 😭😭😭after seeing those toilets there’s no way I would eat there! Absolutely disgusting!
I feel like there were nicer dishes you could have tried that you would’ve enjoyed more. The ones are not that nice the ones you tried . Meat and potatoe curry , aubergine curry , egg curry and tenga would’ve been nicer
