Hannah, I feel exactly the same about Target. It is truly unfortunate that they decided to turn away from their dedicated consumers in such a way, but there are many other stores to shop. I love all of your design styles you share with us!

This is a great point about creators having to shoulder heat during controversies. Creators have no control on what a store is carrying. The anger, hurt feelings, protests, etcetera should only be aimed at that business not the content creators. There are always two sides of social issues and I imagine it is impossible to please everyone. I truly appreciate and enjoy the content Hannah brings to her channel.💞

I recently found your channel and it's great! I like your direct approach without all of the giggles and fluff seen on some of the other decorating channels. A couple of suggestions for new videos: 1) how to decorate etageres and especially the tops, 2) how to decorate the tops of kitchen cabinets, 3) how to decorate tops of chests and cabinets, and 4) how to decorate screened in porches.

I was a Target Visual Merchandising Lead, the best in my district, who decided to quit this past February and i'm now more than ever convinced i've made the right decision, the nonsense was getting out of hand. In Store employees have always been left to the wolves either a guest or a leader, no security and no protection, they rather always protect their guests and their leaders that only value "Yes-men". I love your videos and thank you for standing for what's right!

Well, Hannah, to be honest, i shop for years at walmart, let me tell you: i see a lot of things that target sells (so expensive), and i get it at walmart for a fraction, i really dont want to give away my money. 😊😊 I went to walmart yesterday and i saw almost everything you showed us today, i almost pick up the lantern, its tall and beautiful. Hannah, I have been very impressed with the WM collection of BH&G. WM has really stepped up their game. Christmas decor last year was adorable. The greatest finds are the lanterns. I have all 3. @@julie2643 I know… It’s funny to me that people have a problem with Target selling LGBT merchandise (as they have for years) but have no problem with Walmart paying low wages, union busting, not providing paid family leave, and exploiting their employees. Americans pick the wrong things to be outraged about 😒 …But that’s why we are where we are as a country.

You have always been a class act Hannah...I appreciate your standing up for what you believe in. Target is my happy place...was my happy place. It is so sad because they aren't who I thought they were. I don't think people are going to let this go. It would be nice to see brands such as Hearth and Hand pull their merchandise. I know Chip and Joanna are very religious. Love your channel and all the inspiration you provide!

Thank you, I’ve always shopped Walmart for the convenience & pricing, along with hobby lobby, home goods, etc. Target is further for me, & I never really got the hype. I think it’s very overpriced too.

Just a little FYI about Walmart. Be careful shopping online with Walmart. Unlike Amazon, If you need to return or exchange something it may have to be done through the actual store it came from that Walmart is representing. It is all but impossible to ever get your money back if you need a refund as the store will not usually cooperate with you at all... you will never hear from them. Unlike Amazon, Walmart will not stand behind you and are not at all interested in helping you to communicate with these people. At Christmas this past year I lost almost $100 because I could get no response from the company the items came from and Walmart was totally disinterested in helping. As long as you purchase the items from the store you can easily return or exchange but shopping on line is very different. I don't understand how they can just say "there's nothing we can do." There were a number of very angry shoppers there on one of the days I was there, very upset about the same issue Buyer Beware.

I truly hope this channel stays true to its original narrative, because you are the best❤️ Please consider Hobby Lobby, World Market, Amazon etc. all have corporate cultures we may or may not align with, so if we are going to target (pun intended) one corporation what stops us from condemning them all? LGBTQ2S anything at HL...I highly doubt it. Factories full of exploited employees producing mass market products with devastating effects on the environment season after season. It's a bottomless pit of outrage if we go down that trajectory, please don't take us there.❤️

There is no controversy with target unless you make one. As a gay man I’ve been a follower of yours for a long time, enjoyed watching your videos with my own family, and your tips and tricks. I thought you were a great and open minded person. Unfortunately knowing your stance now and that you don’t acknowledge my existence as a person I will be unfollowing. I’ve asked questions and commented on your videos many times and you never once responded. now I understand you probably didn’t respond since my picture contains a rainbow. Kevin, thank you for your message. Never once did I state that I didn’t support the LGBTQ+ community. I have many friends that are apart of that community that I love and adore… like, Arvin Olano who is one of my dear friends here on YT. You’ve made an assumption that is not correct about me. I don’t care what people want to do in their personal lives. You love who you love and you can be what you want to be. My stance on the Target matter is I personally don’t think it’s appropriate for small children. I’m a mother of 2 young girls. I would like my kids to just be kids. If my girls have questions… then that’s when I’ll have that conversation. I’m sorry if I have offended you in anyway. I respect your choice and also wish you the best of luck!
