ReBar/SAM is currently not recommended for AMD GPUs as it hurts performance for some reason, its probably not working properly. with it on, Urzikstan has drops (as low as the 80s) when looking into the middle of the map but with it off, I never drop below 120FPS looking from anywhere with my 7800XT. I noticed this first when the game launched in the Zombies game mode. this also happened in Vondel, where turning it off has boost in performance, but Al-Mazrah benefits from it.
If you read the information pathtracing + ray reconstruction it actuall says from memory that it only affects out of game graphics like character in pre lobby, menus and cut scenes and has NO affect on in game graphics.

Tysm 🙏 this is the ONLY video that has properly fixed my rig in this game. I was stuttering and chopping and frame dipping, with a 4090 that should NOT be the case. I followed your video and with some personal Nvidia filter settings, the game looks and runs absolutely incredible. I'm blown away. 💪💪💪
If I can recommend you a thing. To try run the game with DL DSR on 2160p. then use DLSS balanced to bring it back to 1440p. You will add so much clarity and detail with minimal los in performance.
@@yvibes in the rtx 3000 series and above there is an option in nvidia control panel called DSR , it makes the game 4k but puts it at your screen, lets say 1080p. old dsr had sharpening problems and was really heavy on the gpu, now there is DLDSR option which uses rtx 30 and 40 graphics cards and has no sharpening problems and has better fps. if you use dl dsr and dlss in game at the same time you get better quality than using dlaa but still with dldsr fps takes a huge impact. if you have a 3060ti or 4060ti its not reccomended in fps games like warzone because fps drop will be big. i have a 3060ti and dldsr at 4k has 60fps on witcher 3 my monitor is 1440p
Im not one for commenting much on RU-vid. However, this video earned a like and sub. I have gained performance/increased fps following all your recommendations in the video. The resizable bar, i had never heard of, but I gave it a try, and it has definitely made a difference. Thank you for the testing you have done and the comparison for the different settings. Great video. Would it be possible to make a video or recommend one about freesync/gsync, vsync and frame caps to improve screen tearing and input lag. Everyone says something different. That would help out tremendously.

Quick note: For someone that uses frame gen on PC it is absolutely worth it and does not effect your input latency at all it is a great way for more frames and it makes a huge deference recommend to turn it on :))
I frankly never tried playing with it. I guess if you have decent performant even without frame generation then input latency wont suddenly become horrible but it definitely can't improve it (unless paired with an upscaler)

Thanks, made me drop from consistent 100fps to 54fps with constant drops to 1fps and no clue how to fix besides deleting config files all together. Don't apply any of these fixes if you have a low end PC.
i noticed that in the benchmark of mw3 when i had reflex on it reduced the performance of my cpu just a few frames so i turned it off.....you want to have it on even it drops performance a bit right?
Nvidia rtx3070 with intel i7 9700k tried with and without resize bar, fps slightly better with it on. not having bad drops when turning to centre of map.. optimised with your settings getting about 120 fps in the middle of the map and 145fps at the less dense areas, no stuttering now though thankfully. Using 144hz monitor so numbers are ok.Not as good as verdansk though.Thanks again for the guide
Have you heard that the new CoD Black ops 6 will have ON DEMAND TEXTURE streaming ON at all times, without the possibility of disabling it, thus hurting performance? Any way to disable it with config files in the future?
@Tech Guides Hi bro! Thank u for the video.. Did u test disabling Hyper-threading if it increases FPS for cod? I have "Process Lasso" program and there is a option "affinity" to disable or choose which physical/virtual cores will perform the aplication/game. (Disabling Hyper-threading / Disabling SMT = only physical cores and no threads for the aplication.) i've seen someone saying it increases fps in warzone in the past, but i'm not sure.
on a rtx 3060ti at 1440p warzone 2 was unplayeble because of the messed up frametimes the engine provided but it had clear image because you can disable filmic smaa and turn on just smaa, warzone 3 is playable and frametimes and fps feel great but the image is blurry because you cant disable filmic smaa. how can developers be so dumb ?
@@Blackkingz1998 no, with CAS sharpening the filmic smma is still forced on and its blurry. you people need to play older games that didnt have stupid shit like dlss dlaa filmic smaa and TAA... omg the taa is just a nightmare.
Turn off resizable bar ("heaps" in config file). This fixes massive framedrops mostly for me. Using RTX4070. FidelityFX CAS set to 100. Edit: ah sorry your frames were fine.
When comparing upscalers it's important to make sure your screenshots are in motion and not static, same thing with anti-aliasing options too typically. You were limited on time so it's fine but upscalers fall apart the most in motion and thats where the biggest difference lies

SInce oyu only have 4gb of VRAM I highly recommend you to turn it up to 90 because elsewise your game will loose performance drastically My Game takes up to 3gb of Vram
Thank you!, very useful. Although, I just can't set shader quality to low because shadows get extremely pixelated. Also, when I set the detail quality level to low, clutter draw distance gets really noticeable, at least to me.
With 5800x3d and 4080 gpu what would you raccmand Resizable bar on or off? Nvidia Low Latency On or On+Boost? And how much Virtual Memory scale (same as yours 90%)? I ask this because i am stuttering and i really cannot fix these problems
Very informative video, I’m hoping somebody can help me out though. I mirrored every setting as his and have an i7 14700k with 3080ti and I’m still getting really bad stutters. If I slide cancel or there’s a lot going on in a certain area my game freezes and stutters. Almost unplayable, any ideas?
