Yea the only people who would be hating on this video are dudes who’s waves suck after brushing for months and not seeing the same progress you got in only 20 min 😂😂, Im a waver myself but i still respect this method
20 mins is a long time for any male to be doing they hair if they ain't getting either a haircut, braids, or their dreads retwisted. I reckon that most guys are more comfortable and better off working months for their waves, than spending 20 mins EVERY DAY on it and just see them disappear after they take their daily shower. At max two days if they are dirty ass heathens and don't shower at least once a day lmao. I don't think it's hating, the POV is they worked for their waves and they don't gotta worry about getting them back every day. 2 methods. One works for ladies because thats what ladies do, spend time on their hair like that every day for that amount of time. In this culture, a man can't be doing that. Work for your waves so you can reap the reward of not having to lose them every day when you take a shower. For you dirty asses out there, that goes up to two days.

Kid DMP just try it one night/weekend- gel down and brush your hair and then tie down your hair and let it dry. then go work out. i mean it shouldnt not work(also who cares about your waves at the gym) but gel is waterbased anyway so it should be fine
I rather have a technique I can do everyday. Brushing everyday and wearing a wave cap is to time consuming. I can achieve this style in 10 mins these days!!

There is nothing fake about her waves. You saw in the video that she started with curls. Waves are nothing but flattened curls or kinks. All the gel does is help her smoothe and hold them down after she flattens them with the brush and because of her hair texture, she can do this easily. Women with natural short hair have been doing this for years with the assistance of gels, pomades, and creams. Don't hate. lol.

My sister I think you just unleashed the secret that other male wavers have been hiding I believe this method is the way to make your waves wide after watching you I noticed as you massage with the palm of your hands and brushed and as you applied the product your waves got wider because at the beginning when you started you had curls I really enjoyed your video great personality and sense of humor

Waves really look good on even shorter cuts. When the hair is a little longer it just looks packed down. Too long hair in This style looks like the wave hairstyle using those old metal wave clips. I agree the eco style gel is the best for styling and keeping the waves in.
I couldn't wait so I went and bought the stuff did it like you but my hair is at a lower level so it ain't come out like yours but it definitely came out good just not slick as I want it but it stretched my waves making them wider my hair look dope though I don't like though I want it more slick I already know how but I don't mind trying a different method but I will do it again once my hair gets thicker

I used eve caps for mine and I would do this in a punch. Just either sit under your bonnet dryer on high for a bit or hit it with the hand held dryer. Make sure your hair is wrapped. Also, I used a tangle teaser to get the best waves.
